A home in a peaceful heaven 15 min away from the Grand Place

This apartment was perfect. Spacious and with all the amenities for a wonderful stay. Alain and Alexandra were kind, gracious and organized. They had stocked the refrigerator with coffee, juice, milk, eggs and more. Everything is clean and extremely well organized. The house is 3 minutes by foot to the metro, several large supermarkest, and several restaurants. If I could, I would give it 10 stars out of five.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Alain was a great host, super responsive, very welcoming, and the place was stocked up with snacks, drinks, etc. Alain gave us a good showing of the local area, and provides a binder with lots of helpful tips and info.

The property was spacious, clean, and the host left some goodies for us in the kitchen. Alain took the time to greet us at arrival, give us a tour of the property and the surrounding area and gave us a rundown on how the metro system worked. I cannot recommend staying here enough!

Nice quiet place, handy for metro.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights and found both the property and the hosts Alain and Alexandra exceptional. We have traveled and rented extensively and would rank this VRBO apartment at the top of our list. The apartment was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and very close (5 minute walk) to a quick Metro ride to the heart of Brussels. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming and gracious. We highly recommend this rental and give it an unequivocal 5 star rating.

If we could give this place and Alain more than 5 stars , we would! The location (near Hankar station) is perfect. The property is beautiful inside and out. As for Alain, he thought of everything! His attention to detail and wanting his guests to feel at home was spot on! The BEST HOST we have ever had!

This was an absolutely beautiful property. It had all the conveniences of home, with an architectural flair. It was light, airy and comfortable. The private garden was a joy to sit in; from the beauty of the flowers and trees to the sound of the birds. Alain was a kind, welcoming and informative host; welcoming us personally and providing an overview of the apartment and surrounding area.

Very cosy and nice. Great room and please to garden for breakfast and to relex in the afternoon. Kitchen is fully stuffed and very conviniend to use. Hospitality by Alain is exceptionally nice. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Apartment - FABULOUS HOST!!Large one bedroom apartment on ground floor. Metro was 4 blocks away and gave us easy access to all of Brussels. Secure garage for our car. We opted to spend all our time in Brussels, but could have made day trips to Ghent, Brugges, etc.The best feature of this apartment was our FABOULOUS HOST, Alain. He helped us to unload the car and move everything into the apartment. Next, he drove with my husband to the garage and helped him park the car.When they returned to the apartment, Alain showed us that he had stocked the refrigerator with 6 fresh organic eggs, fresh organic orange juice and milk, organic yogurts, Belgian organic butter, a fresh loaf of bread, a cake, and a special blend of coffee for the coffee press - although there was a Nespresso if you preferred. Alain showed us all around the apartment including a detailed book with explanations in English for how the appliances worked, how to sort the garbage/recyclables and when and where to put them out.Alain then drove us around the neighborhood in his car to familiarize us with the locations of the metro, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. and explained how the metro card worked. He was always kind and responsive to our every request. When it was time to leave, he helped my husband retrieve the car and helped us load it. As others have stated, this was the best VRBO experience ever! Highly recommend! Would absolutely stay again.

Alain was a great host. He gave us a tour of the area around the property: grocers, cafes, wine store.It was a bit far from the centre of all the sights, but the metro system is very good.5 stars all around!!!

We stayed in this lovely apartment while visiting our family. The accommodation had everything including a beautiful garden. Shopping and transit are nearby making this a convenient destination to explore the city from.

Property was a recently remodeled apartment in a quiet, and yet convenient part of town. A quick 2 block walk to the metro was your key to visit any area of Brussels. The remodeled apartment had a wonderful great room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, great storage areas, washer/ dryer, separate bedroom, lovely, private outdoor patio with koi pond. We could have stay for a month. On top of that, the landlord was very special in seeing to our every need. Even walked us to the metro to make sure we understood how it worked. Wish all VRBO's could be like this one!!!

My cousin and I loved the apartment and had a wonderful 5 night stay. The attention to detail was fantastic. We especially loved being able to have breakfast, and later a glass of wine, on the patio enjoying the lovely garden. It was extremely easy to get into the center of Brussels by public transportation. We arrived late evening and were so happy to find plenty of good coffee and breakfast foods provided for the next morning. Alain was a wonderful host and just made the whole experience of staying there even more special. I hope that we will be able to return for another visit.

The love and care that goes in to this property shines as soon as your feet hit the sidewalk. It was so comfortable, and the hosts really go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. It was right next to a grocery store and the metro making it easy to get around. Without hesitation would stay there again!

Very well furnished, felt like we were visiting family. Alain was welcoming, informative and generous. He showed us around his neighborhood and supplied us with coffee, bread and other lovely treats. We highly recommend his large and spacious place.
