The Edinburgh Address presents The Art House @ The New Town, a tranquil retreat in the heart of Edinburgh, this elegant first-floor apartment is a rare gem. It is certainly adored by The Edinburgh Address team. Soaring ceilings, original period details, and a refined décor in soothing tones create an atmosphere of understated luxury. Thoughtfully selected artwork by the owner, an artist and photographer, adds a personal and stylish touch throughout.


The Edinburgh Address Ltd manages bookings on behalf of the Property Owner. The property owner provides the accommodation.

-Booking Requirements-
One member of the booking party must be over 30 years. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as proof of address and ID of the lead guest. This is required within 2 days of booking.
We will require the lead guest to sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking.

This property is protected by Truvi (formerly SuperHog). After booking, you’ll be asked to complete a quick verification using a valid ID and selfie. A £650 damage deposit will also be pre-authorised on your credit card and automatically released within 14 days of departure. A 2% processing fee applies (amount may vary outside the UK depending on exchange rates). Truvi verification must be completed at least two weeks before check-in.

    There is so much charm and so much detail in the apartment. It was a perfect size for our family of 4 to spread out and relax. Each kid had their own room and the primary bedroom was spacious. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the royal mile and 5 minutes from the Q park garage. We did everything we wanted to do in the city and we walked it all. The hosts were responsive when we needed them, but we only had to contact them once when we arrived for instructions. Everything was very well organized. We would definitely stay here again. Worth every penny!

    This home is exquisitely furnished, scrupulously clean, and in a great location. All of the decor and amenities were carefully chosen. While the space is a formal Georgian home, it felt cozy and welcoming. The location is great, close to dining, shops, and attractions, while inside it was very quiet. The property managers were very helpful and responsive. We could not recommend it more highly!

    This property is stunning, filled with the owners’ artwork and photography. We were greeted with a welcome basket and lovely note from the owners. The location is a block from the tram, Princes Street, and Broughton Street which boasts bakeries, a wine shop, and restaurants including a Michelin-starred restaurant. The flat bottle is spacious yet cozy. The five of us absolutely loved it. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Edinburgh and look forward to visiting again.

    This apartment is absolutely beautiful! Beautiful art, library of books, tastefully decorated! The construction, design and build quality are top notch. The pictures don't do it justice. Tall ceilings, ceiling height windows. Perfect amenities. Spotless. Perfect for a family of 5 with adult and teen children. The location is fantastic! Easy walk to EVERY where, and easy access to transportation. Very quiet. The hosts are very courteous and responsive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful apartment with us! We had a great time! One of our top vacation rentals ever! Will definitely return!
