My stay truly exceeded expectations in every way. The location was perfect, the property itself was beautiful, and the accommodations were exceptional. Lisa and Chris were wonderful hosts—welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our visit. If you’re planning a trip to Montecito, this is a spectacular place to stay. I highly recommend it!

It is so quiet! I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Lisa was very hospitable and prompt with communication. The bed is comfortable and the steam shower was so relaxing. The surrounding area is green and lush. I had some lovely walks! It was a convenient place to stay while visiting my son at Westmont. Thank you!

Detailed and throughout with any updates and/or important info StudioLOVE LOVE the steam activated shower, high ceiling and open natural light. There is wide ample room and tons of storage space plus dishes, water filter, a good amount of towels and utensils.Just IMO, the small refrigerator was a little loud when trying to sleep and there's a bunch of spiders and red ants inside due to the garden outside, just assuming.Nearby spots 10mins from Coast Village rd (Bree'osh Bakery Cafe, Honor Bar and Luckys Steakhouse) 10mins away from the SB pier Great locationSecluded location and during this time very lush and nature vibes. It's not too far for a quick Uber ride if you need from SB

The hosts were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming, offering their support in case we needed any recommendations. The place was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for two people. It was really nice they provided coffee.

The studio apartment is attached to the house (which is unique and stunning) but feels private because it's down some stairs with its own entrance. It's as nice as the photos show, and what's even nicer is that it's in a beautiful and very quiet neighborhood with properties that are far enough apart for everything to feel private but also give you the chance to see beautiful houses dotting the landscape. The only thing that could have been better for us personally is if the bed were firmer, but that is just personal preference. We enjoyed being close to anything we wanted- you can ignore the city and be totally in nature, or be at Trader Joe's in 10 minutes. The Hot Springs hike was less than 10 minutes' drive. Breakfast at the Boathouse was less than 20 minutes away. We definitely recommend this as a great find!

What a wonderful studio getaway in Santa Barbara. Studio is just as pictured- modern, secluded and very comfortable. From the sectional and large screen TV for movies to a very comfortable bed and modern beautiful shower and steam room, It has everything we needed for the two of us to enjoy a few nights away. We loved the location close to the trails but not far from restaurants and shops. Hope to be back and would most definitely stay again. The hosts are warm and welcoming but also allow for your privacy. Thanks you!!

Uncomfortable to drive to this location after dark.It is also in a remote part of Montecito. Although they said no AC, there is no fan on the premises, and it was very warm when going to bed, Yes, you can request a fan, but it should just be there.Also around 8AM a horn honked from the parking area 2 out of 3 mornings????

Our 85 year old aunt found the stairs a little scary so we switched her out and put a friend here! She loved the relaxing atmosphere and tranquil setting. Great hosts! Highly recommend!

The studio was exactly as described. It was quiet and extremely comfortable. We used the patio a lot. The hosts were responsive to questions and were very gracious when we managed to lock ourselves out. I would highly recommend this studio. We will be looking to stay again in the future!

The studio was spacious and clean. We loved the bathroom too! Their instructions were clear so it was easy to find.

We loved our long weekend in Santa Barbara! Location not too far from where we wanted to go and my husband had fun driving through the hills. Small thing but I really liked having the Brita filter pitcher in the mini fridge to fill up my water bottle every day. Only downside was the bed was pretty uncomfortable.

Stayed for 5 nights and loved the place. Beautiful views just a short walk up the hill, open studio layout with a dedicated outdoor spot, and everything you could want to do/eat/drink is under 20 minutes away. We will certainly be back!

The listing is not too good to be true. The pictures accurately depict this studio unit in the hills of Montecito. Everything was clean, and the check-in process with Lisa was very smooth. I would stay here again over any local hotel, without hesitation.

What a special place to stay. Located in an incredible neighborhood! Design and features are super dialed in. Host was exceptional. Look forward to our next visit while seeing our daughter at UCSB.

I wish I’d had more time to stay at this beautiful “suite” in Montecito, with gorgeous views of the canyon, the sound of frogs in the evening, and owls at night! Even when not on site, Lisa and Chris were so great at communicating all the necessary details of my stay there. They have created the most inviting getaway space, with a comfortable couch, the most cozy bed, a shower with a steam shower function, snacks, coffee maker, Brita pitcher, and more! I love the welcoming entrance, with a guestbook of satisfied travelers noted inside, as well as the cork board maps to see where guests have visited from! Little attention to details that were so nice! I would love to stay there again when visiting my daughter in college in the area! Thank you, Lisa and Chris!

We had a great stay here! The studio was clean and spacious, and everything we wanted to visit in Santa Barbara was just a 10-minute drive away! The hosts were very communicative and friendly, too.

This was the perfect respite for us – the space is thoughtfully and elegantly laid out. We were in town for a large wedding and needed an escape from the crowds. Our hosts thought of everything, including a hair dryer! Our first evening, after dinner and a packed cocktail party in downtown Santa Barbara, it was a short drive up the hill to a quiet glass of wine outside under a harvest moon. The next morning, we were less than 15 minutes away from brunch on the beach. Post festivities (both evenings), we enjoyed a great night’s sleep. We would love to stay again the next time we are in the area. Thank you Lisa and Chris.

Great place

Had a wonderful stay at Chris and Lisa's place. The steam setting in the shower was a nice treat. Beautiful views of the canyon walkig down the street. Also, hosts were very accommodating when I locked myself out.

My son and I stayed in this lovely VRBO for a soccer ID camp. The location to Westmont was perfect! The place was super quiet and comfortable. The hosts we very easy to reach and work with!

This place was perfect for my surprise weekend getaway for my wife and I. The place was exactly as described and the pictures pretty much summed up the space. A few notes from our trip, hope they are helpful. Although the property is on top of a hill that has an incredible view, the studio really doesn’t have a direct view of the valley below. The room doesn’t have AC, but we were very comfortable with the fan that was provided. I typically have my room freezing, but the temp wasn’t a factor at all. The bathroom was great, this was not noted or I don’t think it was on the description, but the shower has steam room option! Loved it!!! We Ubered to State St. and the Santa Barbara Bowl. Spent about $16 each way and was well worth it. Driving up that hill at night can be challenging, very little light. The hosts, Chris and Lisa, were responsive and accommodating. We had everything we needed, but they were more than willing to help if we did need anything else. Super easy check in and check out. Lastly, if you do stay here, don’t leave any food out, we had a small issue with ants. Totally our fault, but def worth noting. I would highly recommend this place and we would certainly come back if we plan to come to this neck of the woods again.
