Stayed Nov 28, 2025Overall this was a very good stay. The location is very good to things like the Jet d’Eau (only 3 blocks away) or to walk to the Old Town shopping area, though not close to a train / metro station (it is close to many buses that connect you to nearby sites or to the train). Max was very responsive in communication leading up to the day of the visit including providing us with the requested local Geneva transit passes. He also recommended Le Gobelet d’Argent just down the street and where we had great fondue experience. Bottle of welcome wine/chocolate provided. The layout matched expectations. Technically, they didn’t match the photos because I was provided the instructions to check into the 5th floor unit instead of the 6th floor unit - apparently Max manages at least two in the same building. It may have been a booking system issue that mixed up the communications for accessing the units (floor # and apartment door code), and we only realized when 5th floor guests arrived to the unit. They ended up going to 6th floor unit so I think all worked out ok once the confusion about the units was realized. So for the 5th floor unit: the beds were comfortable. The shower pressure and temperature were good. The living room and kitchen had good amount of space. There were some nespresso pods for coffee, tea would’ve been nice too. There is a washing machine which worked just fine for us, using the heated rack overnight got most clothes (mostly) dry. Give 24 hrs to dry fully.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025Wonderful property! Convenient location to sites, restaurants and the train terminal. Check in was easy. Wonderful warm water and water pressure in the shower. Also appreciated the blackout blinds throughout the home. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025From my first preliminary inquiry to my final checkout message, the communication with this VRBO owner, Max, was excellent. Answers by Max to my questions played a key role in deciding to stay at this particular VRBO and later helped with local transportation choices and the check-in and check-out processes. As for the apartment itself, we could not have asked for a better place. It is brightly lit by natural light and has bright white walls. The furnishings are just so and there is no clutter, always just what is needed in each room. The apartment was quiet within, and the neighborhood is fairly quiet as it is not of a main thoroughfare. We left windows open by day and closed them up at night. We were never aware of any significant street noise. It was a quiet stay.Three of us stayed here and enjoyed having the two bedrooms for privacy and the open, shared spaces of the living room, dining areas, and kitchen. The building is well maintained and was regularly cleaned in the public areas during our stay. We went for walks, in the surrounding areas, early in the morning and at night and always felt safe.We used nearby grocery stories to stock up and enjoyed different nearby restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. What a great experience. Thanks, Max.
