There are laundry facilities on the 2nd floor of this complex.

Getting to know Fripp Island:

Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.

Your unit is stocked with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

    This unit is a good value for the money in a good location and was nicely updated. Proximity to beach and pools is great. A chest of drawers in the closet area would be a great addition. Parking was not as represented to me by the rep I spoke with at booking. There are approximately 30 Sunsuite units and only 10 adjacent unnumbered parking spaces available on a first come first serve basis. All other available parking for the Sunsuite units is a good walk from the units themselves, some across Tarpon Blvd. The available parking is also used by guests from all over the island visiting the 2 pools, fitness center, tennis courts, shops and market on the circle all of which is in front of the old motel building housing these units. We were told it was not advisable to even park illegally at the units long enough to unload or we could get a ticket. In the off season maybe no big deal but it was for us.

    Overall everything was great. I would stay again. Very close walk to the beach and you can see it from the unit. The only complaints would be amount of parking spaces and how to make final payment. Most of the surrounding condos have assigned parking. This place doesn’t. We had to park both cars at the tennis courts which isn’t a fair walk but still a pain. Trying to unload with no parking at the unit made it hard. For final payment, there wasn’t a link to just pay like normal when using vrbo. I had to call vrbo, they had to call the condo on 3 way for me to be able to pay. If this was in the listing for others to know, that would make a difference. Oh and if you need more than one car onto the island, call ahead of time to get them on the list. We weren’t aware of this, had to leave the other car with our people in it, go to 3 separate places before being able to get the 2nd car in.
