The hackers house is situated on the edge of the old town on one of the seven hills of Bamberg and is a single monument. From the outside you can still see the day laborers house. Inside, it was extensively renovated and converted into a luxurious studio apartment - with underfloor heating, luxury shower room and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, ceramic hob and Nespresso machine, Weather permitting, the small terrace can be used in the garden.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our stay in Bamberg very much. The property is of a very high standard and is managed very efficiently. I found the walk to the old town very quick and a supermarket is also close. Particularly noteworthy is the effort the owners went to renovate the building.

Stayed Nov 25, 2018This little apartment was just as shown; clean, well maintained and a remodeled historic building. My husband and I stayed there for a month. The bus stop is just a few feet from the front door, making it easy to get around without a car. The core, historic part of Bamberg is about a kilometer away. The landlord is friendly and easy to work with. For long stays there is a washer and dryer you can use in the basement for a reasonable charge. They will change your linens and clean your apartment once a week. I would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it.
