2 Mi to Granby Ranch: Mtn-View Studio w/ Perks

We were not able to check in even after confirmation of our booking. After waiting in line for a while, the front desk didn't have the reservation listed in their system and sent us away at 6:30 pm telling us to call Evolve. We called and they told us that the reservation was still stuck pending in the air and they had to still confirm that cleaning services were completed. Hmm at 6:30-7 pm!! We waited on line again and finally received the key to the studio suite.

This was our 3rd time at this resort. It’s not super modern or updated but it’s cozy and allows our dog.This was our second time in this unit. The first time it was just two of us and we were in and out so quick that we didn’t utilize the kitchen or the pull out bed. This time, we spent Christmas here as a family with our 9 year old and it wasn’t very accommodating for us. There were not enough pillows or blankets (1 extra blanket and 4 standard pillows is not enough for 2 beds). The pullout bed was horribly uncomfortable & you could feel every spring. All three of us ended up on the full size Murphy bed, which meant none of us got sleep. The kitchen could use some TLC & better cleaning. Cookware & kitchen tools were seriously lagging. It didn’t have even the basics like a cutting board or oven mitts. There was nothing available to bake in.The tv is not a smart tv. We hoped to watch the football game on Christmas Day, but had no access to streaming services. The space is nice but the unit itself could do better. We will pass on this one for now; for paying almost three hundred per night, I would expect a little more. Also, the pet fees are different for different units, our charge was 90, it used to only be 35.

The property as a whole (studio and building) needs some maintenance. None of the doors in the unit work properly, all are hard to open and close.

Overall wasn’t too impressed.

This room was wonderful and suited our needs perfectly! Ground floor was very convenient. The unit was very clean. The hot tub and pool were wonderful as well! The staff were friendly. We only took away one star due to the bed. The mattress was VERY firm. We did not sleep as well as we would have liked. However, the bedding/mattress was very clean! We would stay here again and hope to get a unit with a more comfortable mattress. We had a wonderful time regardless.

Greeted with yellow snow on both sides of the entrance to bldg due to pets. Loud knocking noise in plumbing when neighbor shower was on. Anyone walking upstairs somehow vibrates right through the unit. Old window blinds barely working. Dishwasher wouldn’t start. Other small things too, all little things that add up to not a great unit to stay in.

Love the hot tub pool area. Perfect distance to grocery store.
