2 BR Apt Walkable to inside Park! [Acadia Outpost]

Host was quick to respond with questions which was very nice. Easy check in and check out. Perfect area to access the park. The only issues we had were we were each given only 1 towel per person(4 people)for the entire stay and since we were hiking each day, we needed to shower each day. I would have brought more towels for our use if I had known that but instead had to buy an extra towel for each of us to use. We were there for 3 1/2 days. Also, it advertised the unit had air conditioning but we found out after we got there that it isn’t installed until mid June. We did get hot a few days but managed. Other than Minos these issues, we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

The property is comfortable and convenient to both Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Everything is nicely updated. The amenities were nice, especially the books and materials about the park, which were outstanding and helpful. Communication was great-prompt, direct and informative. Overall this was an excellent stay

This was a great location for our time spent in Acadia. It is located close to several different areas of the park. It was a nice quiet area and the apartment had all items we needed to have several meals in but close to Bar Harbor for nights out. Highly recommend! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Perfect location for all the adventures we did in Acadia National Park. Close to hiking trails & carriage roads-feasible to walk to starting point. Very quiet location & home is nicely decorated. Beds comfortable & couch and chairs relaxing. Close drive into Bar Harbor for dinners out & shopping. Kitchen good for other meals.

Great place to stay for my visit to Acadia NP. Just as described.

The little apartment was cozy and beds were pretty comfortable. Everything was clean & tidy, only thing was that the stove top was tiny & didn’t like to heat up well. Other than that everything was great! Would stay again. Perfect location close to Acadia

Fantastic property with a wonderful host that was attentive and quickly answered any questions that I had. The place was clean and had everything that I needed. Who is the Stonethrow to the park with quick access to both Bar Harbor and North Shore. Also a quick walk down to seal Harbor would definitely recommend anyone considering coming to the Bar Harbor and Arcadia national Forest area. Photos are from North Harbor and seal Harbor.

Very clean house , 13 minutes from Bar harbor 4 minutes way from Jordan pond I will definitely stay there again

Out of the chaos of Bar Harbor. Yet, close enough to quickly get there if you like. For us, we relish the quieter side of the island, and didn't have to 'live' in the mass of people. Great access to whatever we like - especially Jordan Pond and the 'back way' to Cadillac Mountain. Very nice place. Modern and clean. Everything you need.

This was a nice little apartment for our 3-day romp through Acadia. It’s close to Jordan Pond, and a comfortable drive to Bar Harbor. We were very pleased.

The house is fine, but the floors are slanted. No real guides to house or things to do Nice town and location is great.

Good location, close to Seal harbor and park entrance and quiet spot. It was clean and had everything we needed. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend to someone looking for a clean spot to sleep after long days in the park.

What a great location! We have two kiddos and were able to walk to the beach and the bike shop. Quick bike ride to Jordan Pond. Lovely quiet spot on the island.

This was the perfect location, away from the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to all parts of MDI to easily get around. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p[lace was perfect. We would stay here again.

This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. We enjoyed cycling on the carriage roads, sea kayaking, exploring the coast line, and even spent time in Southwest Harbor at the Wonderland trail and Beal’s lobster shack. I would definitely recommend this property!

Location is excellent, especially for those who want to stay close to Acadia. In fact, it's possible to walk into the park from this location. The facility was immaculate, except for a slow draining sink in the bathroom. The instructions weren't clear where to dispose of trash. Fortunately, we had very little during our stay.

Our stay was great! The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was a comfortable spot to wind down from our busy days of hiking.

Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive.

For a small group, this location is ideal as it is a short drive to an entrance to Aradia. It is also an easy drive to Bar Harbor. Has all that you need for an extended long weekend. Head to Sand Beach, Thunder Rock, and hike/bike the carriage roads!

Great spot to stay

This was the perfect location for us. Close to Acadia entrances and Bar Harbor. No cell service but there is wifi. Hosts were very quick to respond to messages.
