17J Charming Apt with Ocean and Jungle Views

We just completed two weeks at this property. Everything was ideal and very much as depicted in description and in photos. Pool and beach combined made for a great relaxing vacation. It is a relatively secluded area that lent itself to a peaceful, serene and very relaxing stay. There is a hotel with a number of earring options right next door or for just a few dollars you can easily get a Uber to many great options just minutes away in Panama City itself. This was our first visit to Panama but won’t be our last. Melissa and Moses are extr responsive to my inquiries. Very nice condo!

This condo is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to a beach and not far from the city. Melissa is extremely helpful and was quick to respond to all our questions whether before leaving or while we were there. She has a great notebook in the condo with suggestions of places to eat as well as sites to see. The beds are comfortable and the two bedrooms are on opposite sides from each other. It is a very quiet building. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The spectacular view from the condo is partly ocean and partly countryside, a great mix. The living room, dining room area is a wall of glass. There is a balcony which was a great place to sit out when it wasn't too windy. You could see the many ships lining up to go through the canal. The beach is a short walk, not much beach at high tide but plenty of walking at low tide. At low tide lots of rocks to explore. Make sure you download what's app and uber before arriving. Many people do not speak English so a universal translator was a great help too. Depending on the time of day an Uber can cost $20 one way to the city and we also had one a low as $8. It's about $18 RT to the closest grocery store and the driver waited for us. Traffic is very heavy at times and since this condo is over the bridge from the city that can have a huge backup. It was a very comfortable place for 4 people. The bathrooms were spacious. It was nice having ability to do laundry also. Highly recommend.

Lovely condo a little far away from things but only $20 cab ride to town

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Casa Bonita. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with, and the accommodations were even better than described! We would recommend highly to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Panama City area!

I recently stayed at Casa Bonita in this 2 bedroom rental & had a wonderful time! We were able to enjoy the beach (and views) from a location close enough to Panama City that it was still accessible & allowed us to discover the jungle, beach & city of Panama all from one spot! The view from the rooftop pool was even more spectacular than from our balcony & with room service and a fabulous concierge available to help us with whatever we needed it made for a great, relaxing vacation. We spent a day at the Pearl Club and it was probably the favorite of all the days that we spend there - great pool & poolside service with a beachfront view & private pavilions for lounging.

Panama amazed me in many ways. I travelled to a lot of countries in the Caribbean, but this is definetely the most safe and also with the friendliest people. This apartment made things even better. It is big and has a great view over the jungle, ocean and even the Panama canal. I cannot think of anything that was not there and me and considered it very luxerious. What is just as superb is the location. You are right at the beach, but it's also a 15 minute drive to the old town with some wonderful restaurants and bars. Manager Melissa will help you out with all trips. I hope to be back soon.
