1 min walk to the Beach! In heart of Buxton- sleeps 6, pets welcome, W/D

Although we made the best of the circumstances and it was a short trip, we were quite saddened by what we found and the condition of the beach. It was advertised that this location was just 1 minute walk from the beach, and that is correct. But what is not told is that the beach is unusable due to beach erosion. A lot of debris and concrete make it unsafe to even be on that part of the beach. The lighthouse was under repair and closed off. The park was full of broken houses that have fallen into the ocean. It was so sad to see and not a safe spot to visit. I understand it was kinda off season but many places were closed. If I had been informed of this, I would have changed my plans. I felt like we were deceived.

We were supposed to stay at this place but 2 hurricanes came thru and changed our plans for us. We were not able to stay. The host was on top of everything and refunded our money immediately and offered a discount for if we ever want to stay there again.

Very clean house. Would use agian. Only downside was how hard the beds were.

Amazing property on a quiet dead end street. LOVED the new webber charcoal grill. Made great memories and will always have a great story to tell. Host was amazing and a huge help when i left a bag back at the home. Super helpful super clean. Will keep an eye out for the same place next year.

The house was nice and had everything we needed. While it showed some use, and we needed to purchase trash baags and some other things, it was a good deal and a great location. We had perfect weather until the last copld of days when the beach disappeared because of the approaching front.

We loved this property! Don't get me wrong--it's basic, but it does the job. Family of five stayed comfortably for a week and really enjoyed it. There's only one indoor shower, but the outdoor shower works well. The kitchen is stocked well enough though definitely check to make sure they have the pans you need before shopping. If you're looking for comfortable, quiet, functional and super close to the beach this is perfect. It's a nice location--walking distance to a few restaurants, and a quick drive to many others. VERY short walk to a fantastic beach. It never got very crowded and there are several protected areas nearby. Great price for a great location!

Place was very clean and great location would stay here again

Property was very clean and just as described in listing. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils for preparing meals. The only issue we had at all was finding several nails in the parking area and yard from what appears to be some recent renovations.

Super clean, comfortable, and well-maintained property. It was perfect for my teen boys and me for a quick weekend trip.
