1 Bedroom Apt, 15 min to downtown SF, easy parking, no day/time restriction.

I booked this property due to the advertisement of downtown and Golden Gate proximity. I let the landlord know I planned to explore the city by bicycle and I inquired about hills and was told “the apartment is not on a steep hill”. -Come to find out, the apartment is on a very steep hill. Be weary if you commute by bicycle or plan to enjoy walking the nice residential hilly neighborhood. -Since bicycling would be too strenuous we chose to drive/Uber instead. Here were the commute times to where we went: 1. Polo Park 25 minute Uber drive. 2. Chinatown 30 minute drive then 20 minutes to find parking. 3. Ocean Beach 20 minute drive. The basement apartment itself is out of the hustle and bustle of the city, is about a downhill mile to Safeway, and has a comfortable bed and basic accommodations that match the listing description. The owners live upstairs.

Property was very clean, with easy parking and convenient for transportation to relatives in Noe Valley. Also good proximity to restaurants and shopping.

Description is accurate. It is quiet and clean. It has a functioning kitchen with cooking and eating wares. No problem with parking at all.

Plenty of parking on the street.Enough utensils, pans and cutlery.Bus stop 1 min walk and no 43 takes you to Foresr Hill Muni tram stop in 5 minutes. It is uphill to walk from tram stop.Bedding could.be replaced. Washing machine in the garage accesible directly. Plenty of storage room in the wardrobes!

Easy parking was a huge plus. Comfortable place and very safe.

Very nice host, nearly all needs met with soap, shampoo/conditioner, cooking oils, basic spices and vinegars. Kitchen fully functional. The best was quiet and dark sleep, the best kind. Peaceful, quiet location.

We spent two weeks at Gregory and Irina’s apartment and for us it was an ideal experience. Parking is always difficult in San Francisco, but we always found a spot right outside the house. Check in was extremely easy. (Just be aware that there are steep stairs leading down to the door.) The kitchen was fully equipped, and all appliances worked well. The apartment is spacious, quiet, and it was nice to have an en-suite bathroom in the bedroom. Access to a washer and dryer really helped for our longer stay. Questions were immediately answered. We liked that the neighborhood of West Portal was close by.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The landlord lives with his family on the 1st floor. A very nice family. Everything was very nice. We were always asked if everything is ok or if we need something. The apartment is well equipped and clean. When we go back to San Francisco we are happy to come back to the apartment. Just returned from a week's stay at this lovely apartment. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. We didn't need a car as easy access to city by bus as bus stop was a stone's throw from apartment. Would highly recommend if staying in San Francisco. Great hosts too.

The apartment provided an excellent location from which to explore San Francisco with plenty of room for our family of four.

Great location, easy jump off for all attractions. Parking was never an issies, almost right outside every evening. Very comfy beds and pillows. Well equiped kitchen with a few basics. Would definitely book aqgain.

We had great 4-days in this appartment. It is spaceous, had everything we needed, even towels had been provided.The contact to the owners was very nice, we got all information in time and they were always there to help. The location of the appartment was for us perfect. Located in a residential area it took us about 30 minutes by bus (bus station is 50m from the appartment) and metro into the city. With a car it is even faster, but the SF public transport is cheap and well organised.The apartment is clean, has a separate bedroom with bathroom and a large living area. The kitchen part ist nice, we enjoyed especially the breakfast at the table view into the garden.There is also an outdoor area which we have not used as we were busy exploring SF :)As it is a residential area it is very quiet, no traffic noise, no noisy tourists :) The house itself is older so you might hear people on the upper floor walking. But this was not loud and was no problem.The area is safe, parking space is available. We enjoyed walking around, escaping the noisy tourist areas in the evening.We can very much recommend this apartment. For us the most important benefits were the location, the size of the appartment and the very nice contact to the owner.Thank you very much for such nice days in SF.

Quiet neighborhood, great location, fantastic hosts. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate. Great host that communicated quickly and accurately. When we come back to San Francisco we will definitely stay here again.

This flat is very comfortable, well equipped and located in a very nice and quiet area. I loved the possibility to run every morning in the park on the Mount Davidson offering a fantastic view on San Francisco. I recommend it 100%

The overall size of this VRBO was perfect for 4 adults. We experienced a couple of issues. There was a trail of ants in the living room area. We searched for a source and found popcorn and an empty juice container under the sofa. I would’ve expected this unit to be clean upon arrival. The extra blankets for the sofa bed smelled unclean, like mothballs, as though they hadn’t been washed. We loved the location of it. It was a very safe neighborhood, and the homes around there were beautiful. It was very close to all of the local attractions/restaurants.

We needed a place that was easy to get round the whole peninsula and this place was perfect! Right off of a bus route and not far from a metro line. The home is clean and well equipped with common needs from toiletries to coffee and spices. Check in process was easy and host is very responsive!

We stayed there for 4 days. Place is closed for any landmarks if you have a car. Ther is no a problem to find a parking.

I came for work. So needed a good place to decompress. It’s a residential neighborhood with beautiful views. It’s not easy to walk and get food so I ordered in which was perfect for decompression.

I travel to San Francisco once a year and I ALWAYS book this property for my stay.

A great property. Well maintained and spacious. Conveniently located for our tourist purposes.

There were way too many stairs for us! I needed a walking stick for balance going down the stairs to get into the into the property. We thought that the apartment should have better lock on it. The stairs going into the bedroom should be on the listing and we should have been aware of it before booking. The WiFi didn’t work well. The apartment was very nice and a great environment to relax during our getaway.

Perfect space for family of 3. Loved that bus stops were just 2 doors down, both coming and going. Never an issue to find parking within 1 house of property, even when we returned at 10pm. Area felt extremely safe. So convenient to everything we did, whether on public transport or driving ourselves. Would definitely stay again!

We’d definitely would stay again. The owner was so accommodating. It’s about 15 minutes outside of main San Francisco and in a beautiful neighborhood. We were always able to find street parking either in front of the house or right across the street. We also was able to do our laundry which was an Awesome plus. They had pretty much all that we needed for the kitchen and even toiletries. Super great find!

Everything about our stay here was great! It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was in a nice safe neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked as well. Parking right in front of the house was always available and it was an easy drive to San Francisco. Would definitely stay here again!

We love everything about this place, great neighborhood, convenient parking on street and amenities the host provided. I can tell that the host take great care of the place and pay attention to all the details. I stay at another 2 places in this trip but this place is the best of all. Will definitely stay again when visiting San Francisco.

We loved the space and the cute neighborhood. Plenty of food and coffee options within walking distance and a very safe area.

We were camping for about a week before we came to SF, and this was a lovely pit stop for three days. It was quiet, comfortable and decently located. Transit rides were a little longer but that was a perfectly fine tradeoff for a safe parking place for our van. We were able to launder our clothes and have a restful sleep. Close to transit stop and places to eat. Everything was as advertised and we felt the hosts went above and beyond with their attention to detail. Would stay again.

This was the perfect apartment for a small family on a trip to San Francisco. We used to live in San Francisco but weren't familiar with this neighborhood - not only is it absolutely lovely but it was SO EASY TO PARK IN, which is very rare for San Francisco. We were able to park right in front of the unit all 5 days we were there, with no issues. The apartment is darling - very clean, lovely decor, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, enough beds for a family of four. They even had a pack n play and baby toys in case of very small people in your group. :) We had lots of space to spread out, windows to open, and it was a nice, quiet neighborhood and very safe. If we come back to the city anytime soon, we will absolutely look up this listing to stay there again!

The inside space is reflected in the pictures, the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom had everything you would need. It is roomy but I would not stay with more than two people for two reasons, the fold-out couch is not suitable for sleeping, very uncomfortable, and what we did not know when we booked it, is that this unit sits inside the lower level of the owner's home. When you walk in the first door, you see the stairs to go up to their kitchen, you can hear every drawer open and close, chairs, footsteps, and there is a bathroom that they use outside of the door to the apartment. But they keep normal hours so if you are not a light sleeper or don't mind waking a bit earlier, it is fine. The owner was very friendly and you don't see them often. If your group is going to be a bit noisy, I would not recommend it.

The apartment was in a house and a beautiful neighborhood in San Francisco. Lovely accommodations and easy check-in.
