We wanted to stay at Laporte due to is great location for hiking. Talking with the property manager and check in were set up for easy use. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay due to an injury with our dog. Shame for us... I’m sure the place is cute and reasonably priced.
I stayed in cottage 7, cute and cozy. Perfect for me and my friend. We didnt spend much time there but the property manager was friendly and always reachable. She even reached out to me and let me know they had a fire pit and smores package which I got excited for! Definitely a place id go again.
We had a great experience at this property. We stayed at one of the cottages. Beautiful gardens, clean and comfy cabin, and great communication with Margie. I would highly recommend.
Laporte is a small town with easy access to Eagles Mere and Worlds end state park. I was happy with the room, loved the owners communications, disappointed that the lake down the hill was private. If you are going hiking , invest in a purple lizard map, the worlds end map is useless and the trails as well as the driving directions from park ranger were confusing. We were frustrated almost every experience trying to get someplace. The views from the vistas were fantastic though.
We had a short stay but it was very cozy with simple check in/check out!
Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay. Property manager was highly responsive and great to work with. Cabin was clean. Sheets were fresh, which is a big deal after a full day of hiking
My wife and I came to hike the area and stayed here with the dogs. Good communication. Clean. Only thing that prevents me from a full 5 stars is good arrangements. I suppose my wife and I did not realize the distances we needed to travel to find A food option. But it was a trade off I suppose for the remoteness of the area.
The rental was cute and cozy, located across from a nice little park.
I rented this room for a 2 day getaway with my husband. So relaxed. Margie was so helpful, answered all my questions. The place was nice and tidy. Had an air purifier which I'm glad about because I forgot mine. I loved it so much that I want to come back. Oh yes, I also brought my little chihuahua with me, Mr. Bootz. He too enjoyed it, felt right at home. I highly recommend it.
A beautiful property in a cute little town
