Lovely time, just 8 minutes from catamount and 20 from Great Barrington. We had a nice time, has all the amenities you’d need to not have to bring anything but yourself. The house itself has a circa 1800 build style charm to it that many can appreciate and the host was very easy to communicate with. Check in and out was a breeze.
This lovely home has charm in every room! Comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a sun room with southern light all make for a most pleasant stay. Vicki is easy to communicate with and the location made for quick access to the slopes and other local attractions.
Very cozy house. Vicky was flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. Nice and quiet in Great location. Vicky the host was very helpful and quick to respond. I am not regular at rentals but that was definitely a great and memorable experience.
We loved being in beautiful farm country and were able to bike, hike, see waterfalls, and swim within a short drive on wonderful country roads. Vicki has a Weber grill, badminton set, fishing poles, outdoor table and chairs, and firewood on the property. The house has charming exposed wooden ceiling beams, lovely garden flowers, a variety of kitchen spices/seasonings and a great music collection. It is an old house with AC window units and standing fans in most rooms; one tiny washroom and one shower/toilet, so best for (2-6) guests who don't mind sharing the first floor bathroom. Her Flashlights and lanterns came in handy during an unexpected power outage in the area. Throughout, Vicki answered my texts quickly and kindly, showing responsiveness and thoughtfulness. We hope to return
This property and home was beautifully maintained. We enjoyed our time staying here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for relaxation and peace.
Vicki was incredibly helpful in settling us in and very generous with her home. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen! Very relaxing, cozy place in a great location to access Hudson/Great Barrington area. Amazing movie selection, too, for our rainy afternoons ;-)
Stunning home, has everything you will need, amazing host and a lot of privacy. We had a wonderful time at Vicki’s beautiful home and would love to visit again in the future. Vicki was super accommodating and a very friendly kind host who did everything she could to make us feel welcome here. She gave us some superb recommendations on where to eat, places to shop and sights to see. The space was absolutely what was promised. The bed was super comfy! We felt very comfortable, safe, and it was very clean. The location was great, too. We just loved every minute of our visit.
We were looking for a place convenient to Catamount. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it was lovely. Per the description, it is 100+ year old cottage. It was quaint and a different experience for us. Cottage was clean and warm. It was convenient to Catamount and easy to find. Owner was very accessible and welcoming.
We had a wonderful long weekend skiing. Vicki was a gracious and communicative host. Catamount was less than 15 away and the market 10 minutes away. Her home was impeccably clean and one of the guests with us has cat allergies and couldn’t tell that a cat lived there. Thanks again Vicki.
This house was everything it says! I felt like a family member there! Warm and cozy, with a great fire place in the living room. The hostess Vicki decorated it for the holidays so it was festive and lit up with sparkle lights everywhere! It made it feel welcoming and cozy. In her kitchen, which has every pot and pan you could have a need for, she had a spice cabinet! With real spices! A rare find in the vrbo world! And as someone who loves to cook and loves flavor,,, this was magical! I give this place a stong 5 star rating. We will be back!
