I cannot say enough good things about this rural farmhouse paradise. From the incredible sunsets to the nightly firefly show over fields of wildflowers, to the magical private beach, to the kind and incredibly helpful property owner. This is a special place that me and my family plan to return to every summer
This is where you would come to write your novel or to read that stack of books that has been accumulating at your bed side all year. While we didn't do the first, we certainly read (lots of places to kick back and relax), swam, biked, played Scrabble and had epic badminton games. There is a relaxed lack of fussiness to the house (and the island as a whole), a simplicity that invited us to get back in touch with 'the things that matter,' nature, good food and sleep, and to leave the noise, the chatter that besets our daily lives, behind. We can't wait to return.
