Slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life at this cozy modern farmhouse, surrounded by fields with beautiful Olympic Mountain and Strait of Juan de Fuca views. Soak in the hot tub or unwind in the sauna after hiking, mountain biking, beach-combing, water adventures, or exploring Olympic National Park. With a California King, & 2 twin beds, wood-stove, full kitchen, fire pit and BBQ, Frontier Farmhouse is a relaxing year-round getaway between Port Angeles and Sequim.

Welove sharing Earthward Farm with our guests. When we remodeled the Frontier Farmhouse, we tried to create the kind of place we’d want to stay ourselves—comfortable, thoughtful and connected to the beautiful surroundings.

Your privacy is important to us. You’ll have a completely private stay, while we’re nearby and happy to help with recommendations, questions or anything you need before or during your visit.

Frontier Farmhouse sits in the quiet Agnew area between Port Angeles and Sequim, surrounded by farmland with views toward the Olympic Mountains and Strait of Juan de Fuca.

We’re just a few miles from Highway 101 and close to the Olympic Discovery Trail, making it easy to head out for hiking, walking and mountain biking. Beaches, tide pools, kayaking and other water adventures are also a short drive away.

Olympic National Park is within easy reach, including Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, Salt Creek and Sol Duc.

For groceries and local food, Sunny Farms is nearby, along with Agnew Grocery and local lavender farms and wineries. Port Angeles and Sequim are both close enough for restaurants, shopping and supplies.

The location makes a great year-round home base: explore the mountains, trails and waterways during the day, then come back to the farm, soak in the hot tub and watch the sunset.

You’ll have private access to the entire Frontier Farmhouse and its guest areas during your stay.

Your personal door code will be provided before check-in, so you can arrive and settle in easily.

After your adventures, come back to the farm, fire up the grill, soak in the hot tub and watch the evening settle over the mountains.

A few things to know

From May 15 through September, firewood is not stocked for the indoor woodstove, but firewood for the outdoor fire pit is provided.

Because we’re close to the Strait of Juan de Fuca, summer weather can be wonderfully comfortable but also breezy and cooler at times due to marine air. We recommend bringing a light layer, even on warm days.

The hot tub is maintained at approximately 104°F and is available year-round.

Before your stay, you’ll be asked to complete a short pre-arrival form and agree to our rental conditions.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon; it was exactly what we needed after a few busy days in Seattle. It’s quiet and peaceful out here, and the views are unmatched. Our hosts greeted us upon arrival and presented us with fresh eggs from their own chickens. How kind and sweet! We got to greet the animals and pet the goats and cats. Although we didn’t get around to using the hot tub, it appears in good working order and was very clean and full. Having a little fire on the cold nights was delightful. We will definitely be back in the future!

Truly a magical place. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The view from the sauna is gorgeous. Private but has adorable cats and chickens roaming the property. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Easily located to explore Forks and Olympic national park. Can’t recommend enough!

Our stay at the Frontier Farmhouse was amazing for everyone in our family! Check-in was a breeze, the house was comfortable, and the property was so peaceful. We appreciated the attention to detail and extra comforts this place offered. It was great to come back after a long day out in Olympic National park and just relax and look out towards the mountains in the distance. The hosts were very responsive, too. Would highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful time at the Frontier house. We wanted a long weekend getaway out of the city and enjoy peace, quiet and quality time and it's exactly what we got! Arriving to a delicious bottle of wine on the table, and delicious farm fresh eggs, was such a treat. The robes and slippers were a great surprise for when we were outside enjoying the hot tub and I loved how easy check out was too! Will definitely be back one day. Thank you Katrina and Denver!
