Great stay in a tastefully decorated house with a beautiful garden in a very quiet area. Very friendly and helpful owners. Beautiful area for walking and cycling. Cities such as Siena and San Gimignano and also smaller beautiful towns and villages are easily accessible. Highly recommended for those who love peace and nature.

What a great place. Cozy, clean and convenient for trips to surrounding towns. Easy to work with staff. Definitely will stay here again if visiting Tuscany.

This property exceeded all of our expectations! The setting was gorgeous, the farmhouse was immaculate and beautiful, the host was endearing, helpful and very pleasant. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to slow down their pace and enjoy Tuscany in an unforgettable property.

Caggio di Sotto was a nice place to stay in Tuscany. It was not far from Siena and other hilltop towns we wanted to visit. As well, because it is located on a farm it is quiet, something we seek out. The environment was lush, green, and lovely. We had the stone cottage, which allowed us to come and go whenever we wished. The stone walls provide no insulation, so it was quite cold inside when we arrived. The pellet stove can handle only one room at a time. The kitchen had all the appliances one expects except a microwave oven, which we would have appreciated for reheating tea and coffee. There is a heated towel rack in the bathroom, and we appreciate that. Our host, Vera, was quite cordial and spoke French, a language we share, so we had several good conversations. Caggio di Sotto is a good base for day trips around this part of Tuscany and there are several restaurants (we recommend Futura Osteria) a few minutes drive away. It is also a nice area in which to stroll through olive orchards and verdant fields.

Best holidays ever!We are a family with two small children (5 and 7 years old)and we found that accomodation a perfect place for holidays. The house is well equipped, comfortable, cosy and with Tuscan atmosphere. Spacious garden with spectacular views of Tuscany.The area around makes a 2-week holiday too short. Siena, San Giminiano, Colle Val D''Elsa and Casole are absolute musts. However, the most remarkable are the hosts Signiora Vera and her husband - very hospitable,kind,discrete, helpful and warm-hearted.Highly recommended for a family with children seeking a peaceful get-away in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
