Clarksville is located in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It is also the county seat as well as the fifth largest city in the state. At the time of the 2010 census the population here was 132,929. Clarksville was founded back in 1785 and was named after General George Rogers Clark who was the brother of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. In 1807 this city became incorporated.
