About Apopka, Florida:

Apopka is a mid-sized city in Orange County Florida, in the greater Orlando-Kissimmee area. For those who prefer some water-adjacent recreation activities, there is no shortage of options from which to choose. One of the more popular choices is the strikingly beautiful Wekiwa Springs State Park. Located at the headwaters of the Wekiwa River, this park offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a natural setting, enjoy a picnic, or swim in the cool spring. There are 13 miles of trails provide opportunities for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding.
