While Whitmore Bay is the main stretch and is handy for grabbing lunches in the nearby fish and chip shops, nearby Jackson’s Bay is much more relaxing. With fewer visitors to this smaller pretty beach, you’ll need to head around the headland towards Cardiff, beyond Nell’s Point. It’s more secluded for a tranquil afternoon, but do note that there are no lifeguards if you’re intending on taking your children.brbrbrbrIf you’d like a bit of outdoor adventure between your relaxing, then head to Cold Knap Bay, where you’ll be able to try a spot of windsurfing and kitesurfing. The bump and jump tides flow over the pounded, underwater sandbanks to provide the perfect conditions for these popular watersports.
