Welcome to a charming little red cottage – a rural oasis where you live next door to both mushroom and berry forests and pastures where animals often roam. Explore the beautiful surroundings, take a dip in the sea or enjoy the tranquillity in the garden. The cottage is surrounded by a large lawn with plenty of space for play, games and lazy summer days. Inside, a simple and homely environment awaits. The kitchen has an oven/stove, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and a small dining table. There are two smaller bedrooms, both with single beds. In the living room, there is room for two more people on the sofa bed. There are two modernly designed, fully functional bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a washing machine. In the surrounding area, there are several nice excursion destinations within a short distance, including extensive forests for walks, rural farm shops and nature experiences typical of the coastal landscape around Kode. The nearest place to swim is in Timmervik, but Aröds badplats is a popular seaside resort with a sandy beach and also cliffs for those who want to fish. If you are keen on shopping, Stenungsund has around 60 shops to find bargains in. The big city of Gothenburg, with the well-known Liseberg amusement park, restaurants and more shopping, is a drive away. The nearest service area is Kode 6 km away, with a shop and a pizzeria. Take a trip to Marstrand and experience the powerful atmosphere at Carlstens Fästning, the quay with boats of all kinds and cozy neighbourhoods with car-free streets. This unique shower gives you the chance to enjoy a refreshing moment with the spectacular view in front of you! Brattön is not only a place for relaxation but also a place for discovery. The island houses a beautiful nature reserve, where you can explore a diversity of plants. Up towards the highest point on the island, Blåkullen, better known as Blåkulla, which rises 131 meters above sea level. From the top of Brattön a wonderful world of expansive views opens up! After hiking up through the forest for about 1 km, you are rewarded with an absolutely unique experience. The landscape splits open, and a panorama spreads out. Many visitors choose to take day trips to Brattön. This charming holiday home is set in the countryside north of Kungälv. It offers a stunning view of the fjord and the fields that surround it. Relax on the terrace while watching the boats passing by and the cows grazing on the pastures. The garden has a big lawn where the children can play. The cottage is rustic and features visible beams. In the cosy kitchen you will find a wood burning stove and a dining area. The living room features a TV-area and a sofa bed with a width of 140 centimetres, suitable for 1-2 people to sleep in. The bathroom is fully tiled and contains a WC, washbasin, shower, and washing machine. The light and airy bedroom features a comfortable double bed. It's just a few minute's walk from the cottage to the nearest bathing spot with it's cliffs and it's bathing dock. This is where you'll find the boat that you can rent from the landlord. There's another beach called Vadholmen, which you can reach by car, on the other side of the bay. The nearest town is Kode, 5 kilometres away, which has a shop and a pizza place. You can also find a small grocery store in Solberga, 3 kilometres. The area offers plenty of sights, for instance the fortress Bohus fästning, and the town of Kungälv (17 kilometres away), with it's buildings dating back to the 1600's. Marstrand is within driving distance, it is the sailing metropolis of Sweden! This is a favourite resort for the Swedish royalty and you will find an old fortress here. Or visit the nature reserve in Svartdalen with it's beautiful lakes, excellent for swimming. Gothenburg is only 40 km away, here you can visit the popular amusement park Liseberg or Universeum. This attractive holiday home is a flat on the upper floor of a house in Hakefjorden. It offers high standard living with an enchanting view of the sea. This holiday home is situated in Torp, north west of Kungälv. An excellent place for families looking for a quiet place close to the sea. It's only 150 metres to the bathing spot with it's bathing dock. The flat was renovated in 2010 and has it's own entrance, separate from the rest of the house. You will also have access to your own part of the front garden, including garden furniture. The owners of the house live on the bottom floor. The flat features an open plan kitchen and living room which opens onto a lovely balcony. Why not start your day here, with a tasty cup of Swedish coffee and a beautiful view of the firth The flat features three light and airy bedrooms, one has a double bed, the other two have two single beds in each room. The bathroom is tiled and comes with a washing machine and a dryer. Free WiFi. The closest bath spot is only 150 metres from the house.
