brGeinig is a wonderfully spacious apartment of approximately 100 m2 spread over 2 floors with its own entrance, located in the idyllic Dutch countryside on the dike of the small river Gein in Abcoude. Despite the quiet rural location, the city center of Amsterdam is surprisingly close by metro, as well as the entertainment centers in Amsterdam Bijlmer; Ziggo Dome, Arena, Gaasperplas, AFAS Live, and the business centers such as Zuidas and the Amsterdam Business Center in Amsterdam Southeast. Guests of Geinig can fully enjoy vibrant Amsterdam or focus on their business appointments, and afterwards retreat in complete tranquility to the very comfortable apartment with a very high level of amenities. You will find a uniquely spacious bathroom of about 30 m2. In addition to a generous walk-in shower with 7 shower heads, you have at your disposal no less than 2 baths: a 2-person bath and a 4-person jacuzzi. The toilet and bidet are separate from the bathroom. In the approximately 60 m2 living area.brbrOn the first floor, you have access to a king-size electrically adjustable box spring of 180x200 cm. On the second floor, which is accessible via a loft ladder, you have access to a double bed of 160x200 cm. The apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users, and the second sleeping floor is also less suitable for people with physical limitations.brbrIn the apartment, you will not get bored. Play a game of pool on a real competition table, enjoy the large 55-inch flatscreen smart TV, or take in the view of the setting sun from the spacious terrace of approximately 8 m², which you can access through the glass sliding door. Een delightful holiday house situated in the summerhouse of the farm Welgelegen. The farmhouse is situated next to river 't Gein. The area is very suitable for walks and bike tours. The house is 500 meters away from the idyllic town Abcoude and very close to the train station. The train brings you in 20 minutes to the centre of Amsterdam which makes it possible to combine the business of the city with the welcoming space and peace of the country life.brbrThe holiday house has an open kitchen with a big stove and oven and a big kitchen table. The living room is nice and spacy and has a beautiful lookout on the river and the green fields. The authentic staircase brings you upstairs where you can find a bathroom with shower and a separate bath and sink, a toilet and 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has a kingsize double bed, one has two single beds which can be connected and 1 room has a bunk bed. The double bed as well as the single beds are from high quality. Downstairs and upstairs have floor geothermal heating for the winters and a floor cooling system for the summer. All the window can be blinded. brbrOn the back of the farm there is plenty of parking space. From the Holiday house you have a beautiful lookout over the green field were you see cows, sheep, ducks, swans and all kinds of birds. Its a 15 minute walk to get into the center of the village were you find two supermarkets, nice small shops and some restaurants.brbrIf you want to go to Amsterdam I recommend you to take the train. Its a 15 minute walk to the train station and in 18 minutes you are at Amsterdam central station. There is a ticket machine at the station and you can check out train times at the app 9292.brbrNext to the Holiday house we have two more (smaller) guesthouses. So it’s possible to rent more space if you want. Our holiday home is situated in the countryside on a dike next to the picturesque river “Het Gein”. A typical Dutch surrounding with windmills and cos, where you can bike and walk. In the summertime you can swim in the river Het Gein. brAmsterdam is very nearby: with a bike it takes you 5 minutes to subway station Gein, which takes you in 20 minutes to the center of Amsterdam. With a car you can drive in 5 minutes to the P+R subway station of Gaasperplas or to the train station Abcoude or Weesp. brBecause our house is so centrally located, all big tourist attractions are within an hour drive, such as Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Haarlem, Volendam, Marken, The Hague, Hoge Veluwe, Utrecht and the 'Venice of the North' : Giethoorn etc etc.brbrThe summerhouse (now holiday home) of our farm, which was built in 1865, is situated just 200m from the city border of Amsterdam. On the first (ground)floor there are 2 bedrooms each with an individual bath room, there is a living and a large kitchen with dining table. The folding doors brings you to the big private garden which gives you a panoramic view to the surrounding pastures with grazing sheep and cows. brOn the second floor you will find a very spacious loft-like lounge area and large dining table with fire place. There is also a tv with dvd player on both first and second floor.brbrThe house has a rich history: until the 60’s the summerhouse was a cattle shed with hay-loft and the farm was leased by various farmers families. Later the land was sold by the Amsterdam municipality to the famous Dutch sculptor Nel van Lith. On the old hay-loft she gave sculptor lessons to our former Queen Beatrix. From 1995 a garden architect lived here and she designed the English/French romantic garden that is still intact today. br
