Tollymore Forest supplied wood to Belfast's Harland and Wolff shipyard and notably to the build of the Titanic. The same slow, grown Larch from this era, is found in the roof and floors of the cottage. The cottage has been lovingly restored and modernised to fit the needs of the modern traveller whilst retaining the charm of its original heritage and character.
