Casino Taxi and Yellow Cab are usually very quick to pick you up from the house to get where you need to go.brbrWe don't have cable TV but we provide access to Netflix. The apartment covers the whole second floor. The living room and kitchen are open concept with large windows and a deck off the living room. Each bedroom features a high quality queen size mattress. The kitchen is well equipped with basics of coffee and tea provided. We don't have cable TV but we provide access to Netflix on the large screen in the living room and Wifi. For ideas of what to during your visit The Coast is an online and free news paper with lots of details and suggestions about what is happening in Halifax. There are several good restaurants and pubs, craft breweries, an artisanal delicatessen, very good bakery and many artist run gallery's and shops within walking distance. And nothing in downtown Halifax is more then a comfortable walk away (with keeping in mind we are on a hill) so the list of things to do includes ocean kayaking, Sea Doo and deep sea fishing, whale watching and and many varieties of sailing cruises on the Halifax Waterfront including the amphibious Halifax Hopper cruise and road tour, theatre, live music, pubbing and clubbing in the downtown and lots of shops and restaurants catering to a wide range of interests and tastes.brbrThe train/bus station is a 25 minute walk away but there are several city bus lines passing on Gottingen Street (a couple minutes walk away) and the airport bus stops at nearby hotels (~10 minute walk).
