A provincial ferry from the village provides a schedule of daily trips to Big Tancook Island and Little Tancook Island.brbrThe best way to get around the area is a vehicle. There is a Provincial Trail that runs behind the house and is great for biking or hiking.brNo parties are allowed on our property. We reserve the right to rent to only those who have previously stayed at air bnb and have positive reviews. We prefer a minimum age of 25. If you are considering our place for corporate retreat, yoga retreat etc. please reach out to us and we will help guide you as how best we can facilitate your request. brbr We offer curated experiences and event planning but it must be authorized by us. Quiet hours after 10:00 pm through the week and midnight on weekends. No additional guests or visitors unless previously approved. No appliances of any kind can be brought into the house. brbrWhile we do allow pets, we do charge an additional cleaning fee of $100 and all pets need to be approved by the host. If your pet is approved, please pick up after them during your stay, leashed at all times outside and do not wash them inside (including the bathrooms). No cats are allowed the owner has a severe allergy to them.

This unique architecture gives a unique two storey floorplan for living and sleeping.brbrThe main family room is open to the second floor and has a seating area with woodburning fireplace, as well as a raised area with doors leading out onto an expansive deck overlooking the water. This room also features two loft sleeping areas suitable for older children, one on each side of the room, accessed by ladders and with railings on the sides. Underneath each loft is a closet and desk area, which can be screened by drapes.brbrAlso on the main floor are the kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room with wrap-around deck and full bathroom. It is conveniently located 45 minutes from Halifax and it is close to Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.brbrAn oceanfront two story, south facing, fully equipped chalet-style house perfect for couples or families.
