It is bright and airy and a warm and friendly place to stay while in Belfast.brbrThe house is full of all mod cons you would expect, including Wifi.brbrGuests will have the use of the kitchen, and an open fire (on request). He still walks around the area undercover - so come and see for yourself his inspiration and you never know, you may bump into him! – check out the 1970’s clips on You Tube!brbrCS Lewis, the author of the Chronicles of Narnia, lived within a two minute walk - you can visit his birthplace, his school, and 'Little Lea', the inspiration for the Lion the Witch & The Wardrobe. So this area is packed with history.brbrGeorge Best, who became British Sportsman of the Century and runner up to Muhammad Ali in the World category of the BBC's all-time greats was born locally and his restiing place is nearby Roselawn Cemetary.brbrRory McIlroy was born and has a home locally, so this area also has sporting pedigree and so many good golf courses - you are soplied for choice.brbrThe accommodation is also within walking distance of shops (Tescos & M&S), independe architecture, vibrant nightlife and unique attractions, and if you would like to go to one of Belfast’s great restaurants, I’ll happily give you some advice. That's why we have spent a lot of time and effort in renovating our apartment to offer our guests a truly memorable stay.brWe want you to enjoy your stay from start to finish and always provide some complimentary goodies to get your vacation off to a flying start. Having lived in Belfast for many years, we are well placed to offer a recommendation for pretty much anything so please ask!brWe believe Belfast is one of the great underrated European cities and if you leave with positive thoughts of our city, we will consider it a job well done :)brbrRegarding the apartment it is a top floor apartment with amazing views over the city (especially down to the shipyard where you can see Harland and Wolff standing tall). There are two double bedrooms with very comfy bedding and fresh hotel style linen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need to whip up great homemade meals, a cafetiere for that necessary morning coffee and even a little breakfast counter if you want to eat casually. The main living room features exposed red brick and lovely lighting, has two comfy sofas, and a dining table if you fancy being a bit fancy!brIn one of the bedrooms we have assigned a reading corner with a lovely big beanbag, great books and some very fun boardgames (we just ask that if you do take a book, please leave one back!).brThe bathroom contains everything you could need including a large bath for a nice long soak after a hard day sightseeing.brParking is free and plentiful and if you are not traveling by car the glider stop is just outside the apartment which means you can be in the city centre in mere minutes.brbrTo put your mind at ease during these crazy times, our apartment is professionally cleaned and laundered by one of the top rated cleaning companies in Belfast and they adhere to Airbnb's strict new cleaning guidelines.brbrFor your convenience, we provide self check in using the lockbox so don't worry if you get held up!brbrEast Belfast is definitely the coolest area of Belfast. A 10 minute walk takes you to an area called Ballyhackamore which is seen as the food capital of Northern Ireland - it pretty much has anything you could ask for. Our recommendations: Mexican - Acupulco (amazing margharita!); Pizza - Little Wing (try the huge 24inch!); Indian - Rajput (everything!). If you are after something quick, Kanto (asian healthy fast food) can't be beaten.brbrVery close by you will also find the beautiful Victoria Park which is amazing for an early morning / evening stroll and also the Connswater Greenway which provides a perfect walking/cycling route.brbrFor shopping, Connswater Shopping Centre is a few minutes walk away and has pretty much anything you could need!brbrGlider stop is right outside the apartment - very fast way to get too and from city centre.brUber and taxis are very cheap in Belfast.brbrAll of the city's attractions such as City Hall, Titanic Exhibition, C.S. Lewis Square, Crumlin Road Jail etc are close by and easily accessible by driving, bus, taxi and in some case, walking.brbrGuest accessbrGuests will have the entire property to themselves.brbr* Standard check-in time is 3pm onwards, and check-out time is before 11am.br* Please note that a fee of £100 will be charged for lost keys--please be careful with them.br* My property is professionally cleaned and is set up to be remote access, ensuring there is no direct contact with anyone needed. The linen and towels are removed from the property after each stay and replaced with freshly laundered supplies. Situated just off the bustling Lisburn Road area you are on the doorstep of some of the city's best pubs, cafes, restaurants and are pretty much walking distance to any of Belfast's attractions. So whether you are here to gaze at exhibitions or toe tap the night away to Irish music, you have found your Belfast home :)brbrThe spacebrOur house is located in a great area of the city. It is in south Belfast and so benefits from its close proximity to the many, many restaurants and bars which are just a short walk away on the Lisburn Road and Botanic Avenue. It is also just on the fringes of the city centre so if you do want to head into the centre of Belfast or visit any of the city's attractions, you can jump on a quick bus, take a cheap taxi, or enjoy the easy walk. Botanic Park is very close by and I would highly recommend it for a morning or evening stroll.brbrThe apartment has been beautifully refurbished with brand new plush and very comfortable furnishings. Relax in the living room with comfy sofa and flatscreen TV, cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy around the beautiful reclaimed-wood dining table, take a long hot shower in one of the brand new bathroom suites after a full day sightseeing, or relax on the crisp white sheets on the very soft double beds. In addition, our house also benefits from a small wraparound garden and an outdoor patio where you can enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening tipple!brbrFor your convenience, entry is via lockbox located just beside the door so you can arrive at any time after 3pm (Don't worry if you get held up!) and free on street parking is available just outside the house.brbrAnd also, rest easy – we conform to all Airbnb's cleaning protocols and our place is professionally cleaned and laundered after each stay. We will always leave a buffer of at least 24 hours between stays.brbrFinally, we want to be as accommodating as possible so although check in is after 3pm and check out is prior to 11am, if you do need leeway on this we will be happy to provide it if possible!
