Summary:brWelcome to our oasis in New Salem with beds for 7 people. Enjoy easy access to I-94, the Country Fest campground and performances, and a quick drive to Bismarck. For hunters (and travelers) we have an outdoor dog kennel by the garage.brbrThe Space:brThis is a three bedroom home with one bathroom, a full kitchen, living room, and out door areas including a large yard, garage, and dog kennel. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the third has two twin beds, one of which is a trundle bed (mattress rolls out from underneath), which is a great option for kids and spry adults. There are four steps up into the house, but after that everything is on the same level. There's a TV in the living room, Wifi in the whole house, and full laundry room.brbrGuest Access:brGuests will have access to the full main floor of the house (basement is storage and will remain locked), the garage, yard, and dog kennel.brbrThe Neighborhood:brNew Salem is a small town just 20 miles west of the state capital, Bismarck. There's a grocery store just down the street (Tellmann's Market) and gas stations near the interstate.brbrGetting Around:brYou could easily walk or bike around the whole town, but most people drive. There's parking for several cars in the driveway and garage and additional street parking in front of the house.brbrInteraction with Guests:brYour host, Noah, is available via text, call, and messaging before and during your stay.

You can find us just 30 minutes west of Bismarck-Mandan, though you might think you've stepped back in time rather than traveled any distance. Home to Salem Sue, ND Country Fest, Morton County Fairgrounds, and the Cow Town Hoe Down.brbrThe spacebrOriginally built as a four-room motel, Elisha's Place was later converted into a two-bedroom, two bath guest accommodation. While visiting, you will enjoy a full eat-in kitchen with stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, tea kettle and coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for your use in the north bedroom and the couch doubles as a hide-a-bed. We also keep a Pack-N-Play on hand should you need it for your little one.brbrWhile staying with us you will have access to the entire place. If your children need to burn off some energy, they're welcome to do so in the backyard between Elisha's Place and the garage. The deck between Elisha's Place and the main house is smaller, but you are welcome to join us if we're out there visiting and use it when we're not around. We usually have portable chairs there, unless the forecast is for rain. Sorry, for now the grill is strictly for Blaise's use.brbrGuest accessbrFree Wi-Fi access. Smart TV with a DVD player is in the living room. You are free to park on the street in front of Elisha's Place or in our driveway off the alley.brbrOther things to notebrWe offer simple hospitality, ever practicing what is not our natural gifting.
