Nevertheless, Steina is sensationally well situated for reaching the spa town of Bad Sachsa in two kilometres over the mountain. Almost everything can be found there. From the ski area to the famous Harz Falkenhof, which is well worth a visit, the Märchengrund tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the Priorteich natural swimming pond, an ice rink, a children's adventure centre, endless shopping opportunities and at least 5 affordable supermarkets, lots of delicious restaurants, a great spa park (if you need one in the wooded Harz Mountains) and much more. The room layout is very practical, everything is bright and big enough, nice balconies for each flat to get some fresh air without having to go outside in the crisp Harz weather! I love the Harz mountains so I want to share this with my guests and convey this love to them. Steina is by far one of the quietest places in the southern Harz/Harz. It is a dead-end village without any through traffic! The holiday home is even a little off the road in a quiet cul-de-sac by a rushing torrent. Nevertheless, Steina is sensationally well situated for reaching the spa town of Bad Sachsa in two kilometres over the mountain. Almost everything can be found there. From the ski area to the famous Harz Falkenhof, which is well worth a visit, the Märchengrund tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the Priorteich natural swimming pond, an ice rink, a children's adventure centre, endless shopping opportunities and at least 5 affordable supermarkets, many delicious restaurants, a great spa park (if you need one in the wooded Harz Mountains) and much more.
