A mixture of old and new, the Farmhouse has been lovingly restored, keeping many of its original features, whilst offering practical and modern facilities. It sleeps up to 8 guests in 2 double and one twin bedroom upstairs, and a luxurious double sofa bed downstairs in the games room.brbrThe lounge is upstairs with plenty of windows to take in the spectacular views from both directions. It has an open fire, TV with full Sky package and comfy sofas. brbrThere’s a large fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, built in oven and combi-microwave, dishwasher and Belfast sink with trigger spray arm. We have stocked the kitchen for all you’ll need to feed a crowd, including baking supplies, slow cooker, Actifry and Nespresso machine. There’s cosy bench seating and a small cafe table.brbrA separate laundry and utility room are next door to the kitchen, leading on to another downstairs room, which has a dining table set in the big window to take in the view of Easington Fell. The Lakehouse is perfect for forest bathing and watching the multitude of wildlife that visits and lives here. Powered by the wind and sun, with water alkalised and filtered from our own spring on Burn Fell, this really is a place to reconnect with nature and those around you.brbrThe ground floor in an open plan space with underfloor heating. The lounge is a combination of comfy sofas, leather reading chairs by the fire, and armchairs plus a giant pouffe facing the lake view window. The wood burner is a great centre piece for the beautiful exposed brick wall which has tiny windows, which frame the light, and are ever changing with the weather. brbrFull TV package is available which you can watch cinema style, with surround sound. We have a bluetooth connection, and speakers throughout the property so you can listen to all your favourite tunes wherever you like with the same incredible sound quality. brbrThe professional kitchen includes, a large double fridge/freezer with ice and chilled water function, combi microwave/oven/steam oven, dual temperature wine fridge, induction hob, ESSE range cooker, dishwasher and instant boiling water tap. Our cupboards are full with all you’ll need to make use of this incredible space, from baking a cake to a more formal dinner party.brbrAs you step out of the kitchen door, you are immediately in the outside dining area, making eating and socialising on a sunny day seamless. The Cottage is the perfect hub for a small family or couple. It can sleep up to five people upstairs in a large fell view double room and cosy single. The snug is a comfortable place to curl up with a book, or take advantage of the full Sky package, and also provides extra sleeping capacity on a luxury sofa bed. brbrThe fully equipped kitchen has all you’ll need for your break away, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven/hob, slow cooker and Nespresso machine. There’s a dining table and chairs in the spacious hallway directly next to the kitchen, with views of Burn Fell through the traditional front door. The Cottage is our only property that has access both at the front and back of the property.brbrThe kitchen leads out onto a patio and spacious communal yard looking out across the Forest of Bowland.
