The ground floor features a built-in kitchen and dining area plus a bathroom/shower. Wooden stairs lead to the spacious bed/living room on the first level which features a double bed and a settee and leads to the balcony.brbrThe property includes a separate studio opposite which was recently refurbished and combined is ideal for 2 couples to share or a family to spread out. The studio has its own sleeping are, shower and kitchenette. brbrAt the back of the studio is a large shady veranda and garden where one can ralax away from the midday heat or enjoy open air living in the evening. From the house it is just a 5 min walk to the village centre with bakery, pharmacy, tavernas and a supermarket. Karousades is a very traditional village and the residents are very friendly and helpful. We have often come home to find fresh vegtables or fruit on the door-step.brThe property is under two miles from the peaceful sandy beach at Astrakiri where there are a 3 excellent restaurants with beautiful sea views.brbrKarousades is perfectly located to explore the North of the island. Whilst there is a bus service to Corfu town and local attractions you will get the most from your stay if you hire a car or scooter. There are local agencies for hiring vehicles in Rhoda and Acharavi or from the airport. Its best to book in advance in the high season as otherwise you coud miss out! brbrCorfu is also called the green island becaue of its extensive green olive groves which help to make the place feel cool and produces the tasty local olive oil. There are estimated to be well over three million olive trees being cultivated, covering roughly a third of the Island.brbrThe north of Corfu is renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches. Its in a quiet location with 3 different beaches on a walking distance of maximum 10 minutes and a great location in the center of North Corfu to explore both the east and the west of the island.Our house consists of one private pool, 4 bedrooms with 5 terraces overlooking our beautiful garden. There is 1 kitchen with dining area ( fast wifi internet) as well as 4 comfortable twin bedrooms with air-conditioning. And a living room with a big sofa bed that can sleep 1-2 more quests and with air conditioning also .There are 2 private bathrooms with shower.
