The house is situated on the hillside above the main Yelapa Pier and requires about a 10-minute walk over cobblestone paths and up many steps, so requires some physical effort. Isabel Beach, a small, relatively secluded beach, is about a 10-minute walk on the trail towards the point, and the main, commercial Yelapa Beach requires about a 20-minute trek through town. Local ATV Taxi Service can be hired for traveling to the main beach or Yelapa Waterfall. The house is equipped with most amenities, including filtered water, range & oven, and an ample supply of cooking and dining utensils, along with a large refrigerator. Bedding and towels are provided. All exterior doors and windows are gated to allow for your privacy and security. 8 MBPS Yelapa Wifi service is provided. It's a 5 minute walk up approximately 300 stairs to get to our Casa.brbrUpon arrival: One of our staff members will greet you at the pier by Hotel Lagunita. If you like, they will have a mule to carry your luggage to the house. (Suggested tip is $100 pesos per trip for mule service) Once at the house they will take a few moments to get you familiarized with the property. brbrVarious details: There is a washer for clothing on the property. All beds have mosquito netting. All rooms have fans. brbrOur interaction with guests: We have a grounds keeper that comes daily and is available for anything that might arise. Yelapa is only accessible by boat so here are directions to catch a water taxi to Yelapa. The first and easiest place to catch a water taxi to Yelapa is located at the end of the Los Muertos Pier. Jump into a taxi and tell them you are heading to Yelapa and need to go to Los Muertos Pier and they will know where to take you to. Once they drop you off you will walk towards the water and pier which will be visible from drop off. As your walking down the block towards the water and the end of that block there is a Water Taxi booth you will see on your right. They can assist you in buying tickets for the water taxi to Yelapa. It usually cost around 350 peso for a round trip ticket. If you don't know how long you will be staying in Yelapa I recommend just buying a one way to ticket to Yelapa. It is advised to be at the end of the pier 10-15 minutes early just to make sure you make the trip to Yelapa. If you have extra luggage a tip is in order for the guys on the boat. Once you pull into Yelapa they will first stop at a pier on the left. Usually they ask if your going to Hotel Lagunita and this is where you want to get off the boat at. The apartment includes a rooftop patio with simplicity, privacy and personal security as its major attraction. One must walk some 10 minutes from the main pier and up many steps to reach the property. The Studio sits atop the main Casa Parota house on the third floor and shares an outside staircase, offering a large rooftop patio and beautiful jungle view of Yelapa Bay and the surrounding mountains. The apartment includes a comfortable Queen Bed with a mosquito net, built-in 4-burner cooktop stove, and a good supply of cooking and dining utensils, along with a small refrigerator. Filtered water is provided, as are bedding and towels. The bathroom includes a tiled walk-in shower. The windows and exterior doors are barred to offer security and comfort throughout your stay. 8 MBPS Yelapa Wifi service is provided. We do not recommend this unit for children. From the house you can walk to Isabel Beach in about 10-minutes; about the same to the main village, where grocery stores and several restaurants are located. The walk to the main Yelapa Beach requires about a 20 minute trek. There are 4-wheeler motorized taxis available to haul you from the village to the large beach or up to the Yelapa Waterfall.
