The cottage was lovingly renovated in 2023/4 by a local family who've owned it for generations. It's fresh and modern but without losing its soul. The column of the spiral staircase is a Sampson post, presumably from a shipwreck, which the owners father found on the beach. The upstairs bedroom still feels like the upturned hull of the lifeboat which would have occupied the old station next door a hundred years ago.brbrThere's a cosy, thick walled, sitting room with log burner, a spacious kitchen/dining room and an ensuite bedroom downstairs.
