The new Argyle temporary station is by Goudy Middle school at Winthrop Ave and Winona St. It's also convenient to the Broadway, Lawrence, and Ashland buses - it's almost more convenient to not have a car here! Entertainment: Uptown offers a unique blend of history and ethnic diversity. The Green Mill is a classic Jazz club that used to be a hangout spot for Al Capone, it is still popular to this day. This entertainment district is anchored by the Aragon Ballroom and Riviera Theatre which are bustling with shows through the weekend. Food & Drink: Argyle is one block away. If you believe in eating where the locals eat, Argyle is most certainly the place to go; this is authentic cooking, with no tourist traps to be found. Vietnamese restaurants and bakeries are the most plentiful, with various disciplines of Chinese food a respectable second, and Thai restaurants. There are even Ethiopian, Lebanese, Indian cuisine options. You can also find many local coffee shops and bars around : Fat milk, First Sip Café , Fat cat bar , Larry's at The Lawrence House... Our place is two blocks away from the Lawrence Red line train station, and equally convenient to the Broadway, Lawrence, and Ashland buses - it's almost more convenient to not have a car here! If you do bring your car, however, there's a parking spot behind the building available for your use. Lake Shore Drive is close by for you to get to downtown quickly. -We will try our best, but Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate, especially during the summer. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day. -All guests need to be attentive to the house rules during their stay, as there are other tenants at the property. -Guest should be mindful to not run or walk hard in the apartment to not disturb other tenants. -We have STRICT rules against noise, loud music, and/or partying and have cancelled reservations due to complaints in the past. This property is comprised of 2 identical two bedroom / 2 bath apartments (4 bedrooms / 4 baths in total) on different floors of the building. You can easily walk or take the elevator between the apartments, as they're separated by just one floor.brbrbrbrOnce inside, you're greeted by a light-filled space with windows on every wall. The views during the day are fantastic - but it's even more magical at night!
