With four generous-sized bedrooms - two doubles and two twins - it sleeps two to eight guests.brbrYou'll find Rhiwal on a working dairy farm in the heart of the Llŷn countryside. It is a beautiful rural spot with a backdrop of lush green pastures, woodland, and big skies. The barn is remote enough to feel extremely peaceful, but perfectly placed to get out and explore. Pwllheli, Nefyn, Aberdaron and Abersoch are all just a short drive.brA handsome and contemporary rural escape, the cottage has been recently renovated to a very high standard - it is spotlessly presented throughout. Bright and welcoming, and with plenty of room for up to eight guests, it is perfect for a big birthday, special anniversary, or an extended family getaway. The cottage is dog-friendly. The owner has over 25 years experience in TV set design, and along with her background in Art, design and craft, this is evident in the clever styling of the property which includes many of her own upcycled furniture and accessories.brbrDownstairs, you'll find a large open plan kitchen diner with plenty of space to cook up your holiday favourites on a range cooker with double oven. There is a large oak dining table, and a separate seating area to one end of the room. We love the earthy exposed oak beams, open shelf storage, and slate floor in this space. It has a warm, homely feel to it.brbrLarge French doors open out from the kitchen diner to an outdoor terrace with views across the garden to the trees and rolling countryside beyond. Perfect for al fresco dining. The garden, by the way, is totally private and fully enclosed with a large lawn. There are decent hammock-stringing trees (and a hammock!) and a couple of swings. It is totally idyllic.brbrBack inside, and still on the ground floor, you'll find a large sitting room with a showpiece stone inglenook fireplace. Three comfortable sofas are arranged around the wood burner, which comes with a small supply of logs.brbrAlso downstairs, you'll find a very handy utility room with a washing machine and an equally handy downstairs bathroom with a shower above the bath. It's a very easy-living kind of space.brbrUpstairs, there are four lovely bedrooms, two generous-sized rooms one with a king size bed and the other a super king, and two twins. Each of the rooms is spacious, bright and beautifully presented. The bedrooms sit under the eaves, but there is a generous amount of headroom. Also upstairs, you'll find two bathrooms - a large family bathroom with shower over bath, and a separate shower room with a large walk-in shower.brbrOutside this fabulous large barn conversion on a working farm on Pen Llŷn, as well as the aforementioned large garden, you'll find a fantastic separate games barn with pool tables, table tennis, and - our family favourite - table football.
