WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 1.9 miles and a pub in 2 miles. Heathfield is a wonderful base for a countryside escape to Somerset. Perfect for walking, mountain biking or just sitting and relaxing away from the everyday working week. Idyllic location being in an area of outstanding beauty, close to the sea and within walking distance of local amenities a local restaurant and a village shop. Visit the Harbourside town of Watchet, the medieval village of Dunster and the seaside town of Minehead. Perfect if you have a wedding at the St Audries Wedding venue which is within walking distance or we as hosts can arrange a lift for you for a very small fee. West Somerset Railway is within a short drive with a wonderful ride on a steam train. Kilve Beach is a couple of miles away spend an afternoon on the beach fossil hunting and a meal at the Pub nearby. If you fancy a spot of stargazing you can do so sitting outside the lodge or take a short walk onto Staple plain behind the property. You will love staying at this property it is quiet and homely and comfortable. It is within a village but also on the Quantocks especially if you like walking. The views are stunning from the top and if you are lucky you will see horses and deer as well as many different varieties of birdlife. Breath in fresh air and relax.

Cosy Cottage in beautiful countryside

The Cider House is a converted Cider Barn on a 12 acre smallholding 12 miles to the west of Taunton in Exmoor National Park. The farm is set in the beautiful rolling Brendon Hills close to the sea, the Quantocks and Exmoor. It is arranged as a cosy cottage and it sleeps four people with a double bed in one bedroom and two singles in the other. It has recently been redecorated and refurbished and is heated by a wood burner with wood provided free of charge.brbrThe Cider House is situated near the main Farmhouse. It is a separate building with its own front door accessed via stone steps which lead to your own private south facing garden with a small patio seating area. brbrThe cottage is small but perfectly formed with high ceilings. The main living/dining/kitchen area is heated by a lovely wood burning stove. Patio doors overlook the private garden with views to the fields beyond. The bedrooms each have electric heaters as does the bathroom, which has a separate shower and bath. We provide towels but please bring your own beach towels.brbrAll bedding is provided. Sheets, quilts and pillows are all quality cotton. The single beds are slightly narrow so perfect for children but also suitable for adults. We have a travel cot you can use if you need one - please let us know in advance and bring your own baby bedding. We can also provide a high chair if required.brbrThere is broadband wi fi in the cottage and you should be able to get 4G mobile signal.brbrThe cottage is solely for your use. There is a playing field with a small swing which you can use. Our dog may pop his head over the fence to say hello. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the garage and you can use these if you wish. Your recycling crates are in the old piggery which is below the cottage and as we like to be green, would be grateful if you could separate your waste in the crates please. If you want to use the garage to store pushchairs, beach gear etc then please feel free to do so.brbrPlease let us know when you expect to arrive. We will quickly show you around and will then leave you in peace, although we're usually available if you need us for anything. Whites Farm is a family home as well as our workplace so you may notice us pottering about but we will try not to disturb you as we go about our chores.brbrWhites Farm is in a very rural location high in the Brendon Hills. We are close to the north Somerset coast and surrounded by beautiful countryside. We are within the boundary of the Exmoor National Park, we can see the steep rise of the Quantocks across the valley from our land. We are a 20 minute drive from the beaches of Kilve and Blue Anchor on the North Somerset coast and an hour away from the South Devon coast. Other points of interest include Dunster with its medieval village and castle, the steam West Somerset Railway and a number of excellent National Trust houses and gardens.brbrAs we are so rural, you will need a car to get around. Walkers and cyclists love West Somerset and we are a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful landscape. You can store your bike in our garage, at your own risk, if you wish.

Awarded the prestigious EnjoyEngland 4 Star Gold Award 2011-2017 for quality accommodation and customer service, Town End Farm and its adjoining cottages are situated on the edge of the ancient village of Crowcombe in the heart of the Quantock Hills, the first area in Britain designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a footpath directly opposite the farm entrance which leads right up to the top of the hills and across the surrounding countryside which has changed very little from the days when it inspired the romantic poets Coleridge and Wordsworth. Just a few minutes walk will take you into the heart of the village, where you will find the village church, shop with Post Office and also the excellent pub, The Carew Arms. The cottages are tastefully decorated throughout. Each has a separate garden and guests also have access to the owners large gardens and paddocks. We have tame miniature ponies and sheep grazing in our paddocks.brbrOn the ground floor of Flora’s Barn there is a twin bedded room with French doors, and a shower room with enclosed shower, basin and loo. On the first floor there is large combined kitchen, dining and living area which has cathedral windows to the whole of the West side with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and beautiful sunsets. There are French doors leading to a small decked terrace with a few steps down to the cottage garden. There is a further double bedroom with king-size iron bed and an en-suite bathroom with a caste iron roll-top bath with shower attachment and basin and loo. The property has full CH and a log burner – we supply a basket of logs for the start of your holiday. brbrIncluded: brhob/stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine,briron/ironing board, internet access, central heating, shared tumble dryer, high chair & cot, secure bike store and use of bike carriers for cars.
