Flora's Barn (Sleeps 4. 2 Bedrooms)

Awarded the prestigious EnjoyEngland 4 Star Gold Award 2011-2017 for quality accommodation and customer service, Town End Farm and its adjoining cottages are situated on the edge of the ancient village of Crowcombe in the heart of the Quantock Hills, the first area in Britain designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a footpath directly opposite the farm entrance which leads right up to the top of the hills and across the surrounding countryside which has changed very littlefrom the days when it inspired the romantic poets Coleridge and Wordsworth. Just a few minutes walk will take you into the heart of the village, where you will find the village church, shop with Post Office and also the excellent pub, The Carew Arms. The cottages are tastefully decorated throughout. Each has a separate garden and guests also have access to the owners large gardens and paddocks. We have tame miniature ponies and sheep grazing in our paddocks.

On the ground floor of Flora’s Barn there is a twin bedded room with French doors, and a shower room with enclosed shower, basin and loo. On the first floor there is large combined kitchen, dining and living area which has cathedral windows to the whole of the West side with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and beautiful sunsets. There are French doors leading to a small decked terrace with a few steps down to the cottage garden. There is a further double bedroom with king-size iron bed and an en-suite bathroom with a caste iron roll-top bath with shower attachment and basin and loo. The property has full CH and a log burner – we supply a basket of logs for the start of your holiday.
