Seaside House, which has recently been redecorated and refurbished (Feb 2022) and named in Trip Advisor's top 10 holiday rentals to stay in Northumberland (September 2020) is ideally located on the outskirts of Seahouses. Recently updated and refurbished, this tastefully decorated property benefits from a peaceful location, yet within walking distance of the harbour, beaches, golf club, and the village with it's many pubs, restaurants and shops. At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from the harbour. The stunning Bamburgh castle and it's beautiful beach is only 3 mile away, and the historic market town of Alnwick, with it's majestic gardens and castle (used in many movies including Harry Potter), is only a short drive. The heritage coastline is dotted with more castles, beautiful beaches and fishing villages, as well as Holy Island.brThe Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National park are close by, as well as the border towns of Berwick and Coldstream. Newcastle and Edinburgh are also easily accessible. Seaside House is an ideal property to stay, with it's sleeping flexibility, 2 bathrooms upstairs and cloakroom downstairs. Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival time after 3pm. Departure time 10am. brbrDue to Covid-19 we are undertaking extra cleaning and sanitizing at the property.brbrWe will continue to supply bedding to all beds required, but we now kindly request guests to strip all bedding at the end of their stay, and place into Wash Bags provided. brbrWe also continue to supply all towels, including t.towels.brbrWe do allow guests to bring their own bedding/towels if they wish ..but must communicate this to us, when they book or before arrival date.brbrWe are planning a refurbishment during this winter (2021). Traditional Fisherman's cottage set in a lovely, quiet cobbled square very close to the harbour and beach. Recently renovated to a very high standard. The cottage has original stone walls in the kitchen and living room. Lovely large kitchen for all of the family. It has 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 bunk bed with full size single beds and 1 twin room with 2 single beds). It benefits from wifi and net flix. Parking space for 1 car directly outside the cottage. Dogs allowed.brOut of season/non-major holiday periods, we accept booking for the following dates: Friday to Monday (3 nights) or Monday to Fridays (4 nights). The daily rates have been worked out on this basis. However, if you need greater flexibility, hopefully we can accommodate you and work out a price based on a mix of weekend and week day rates. If you would like to stay for 1 week or longer out of season/non-major holidays, please enquire about the price because we will apply a generous discount - we will not merely add the mid-week and weekend price together. During holiday periods, the price is based on staying 1 full week (Saturday to Saturday) and is therefore already discounted from the daily rates. Thank you.
