In total there are five cottages surrounding a pretty shared courtyard garden, which has been thoughtfully designed to provide peace and privacy for guests. The original farmyard and barn have been restored and there are often farm animals around for guests to pet or feed. From the courtyard there is a beautiful route out through farmland down to the riverbank situated in a Site of Nature Conservation Interest, perfect for a peaceful picnic and enjoyment of the beautiful landscape and wildlife. All of this is accessible via a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk.brbrLynchets has a generous open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen with rise and fall worktops and accessible cupboards and appliances. There is a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove and television, and also a dining area with table and chairs. The high ceilings with exposed trusses give a spacious feel to the beautifully designed interior. There are two bedrooms, a 6' super-king size master with en-suite bathroom, and a separate twin bedroom with two 3' profiling beds. The large accessible en-suite wet room has an overhead and adjustable shower, wash basin and WC with support rails.brbrOutside is a small terrace with garden table, bench and chairs overlooking the pretty courtyard garden. Lynchets Cottage forms part of Wraxall Yard. There are four further accessible cottages of Ladymeade, Kittwhistle, Clementine and Lookout that can be booked for groups of friends or family, and there is a large shared room and kitchen for lunchtime or evening gatherings which can be booked separately, subject to availability, if three or more of the cottages are booked together. The cottage over looks the stunning gardens and included in the stay is use of the shared heated outdoor pool (May to September).brThe cottage has a good size lounge and dining room with comfy sofas set around a log burner. The kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you would expect including a full-size fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and Nespresso Coffee Machine.brUpstairs all beds are made up with high quality white linen, non-feather pillows and duvets and super comfy mattresses for those lazy mornings in bed. The good size bathroom with bath is great for a long soak after a day’s exploring. Fluffy white bath and hand towels are provided. We do advise guests to bring an extra towel to use for the swimming pool.brPlease be aware that there is a step down from the sitting/dining-room into the kitchen and from the kitchen to the outside patio. This cottage retains its original ‘Dorset winder’ staircase to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
