Tramore has a beautiful 5 km sandy beach with plenty of sand dunes and cliff walks. The copper coast tour and greenway is nearby. The town itself is built on a hill that slopes down to the strand. The long, rolling waves in Tramore make it a good spot for nature lovers and water sports.brbrThe beachfront promenade has a leisure park with outdoor mini golf and attractions. There’s also indoor entertainment on the promenade and traditional fish and chips.brbrLocal food includes seaweed bread, ‘oaties’ and exceptional coffee from the Seagull Bakery. Toms or The Vee for a nice full Irish Breakfast. Mezze for Middle Eastern cuisine. Mollys for take away coffee on seafront. In the evening The Vic pub has an outdoor sheltered seating area for pints and great pub grub. In Waterford City try a ‘Burza’ a novelty restaurant that serves a burger in a pizza. Highly recommend Waterford Castle for fine dining or a nice more casual bar meal. Take a short drive and your car across the water on the small free boat. Suggest phone in advance to check no functions are on.
