Keane's Cottage (a restored ruin) is a special holiday rental offering it’s own unique experience that has been recently approved under the new 'Welcome Standard' by 'Failte Ireland' (the Irish tourist board). brbrThe River Blackwater creates the boarder of Waterford and Cork Counties. As it approaches the town of Youghal it opens out into a large bay and then narrows before opening out to the ocean. On the West Side, the town of Youghal runs up a steep hill from the waters edge; on the East side of the bay are the fields dotted with houses of Kinsalebeg. Keanes Cottage is nestled on the Kinsalebeg side with a view of the town on the other side of the water and just a four minute walk to the bay. It is an excellent and central location for traveling to many landmarks and tourist attractions. An excellent walking or cycling location, the cliffs of Ardmore are only a 10 minute drive away. At least six beaches are within a ten minute drive. The main road (N25) between Cork and Waterford is only five minutes away. There are many golf course nearby.brbrBut it is also a wonderful Cottage to just relax and enjoy, put your feet up in front of the fire. It has a spacious living room, dinning room and and kitchen and all the modern convinces. Large teak windows and skylights keep everything bright. We have done much to make your stay comfortable.
