My home is great for skiing or summer holidays, bringing together families or groups of friends. It comprises a large well equipped kitchen/dining area and a large sunken lounge with comfortable seating and a yunca multi burner fireplace. The house has 3 full bedrooms and a 4th/attic room with two single mattresses on the floor with limited head space and a miniature doorway. Not suitable for too young, too old or too big I feel but has been used by many. The living room does have a double bed settee but rarely used. I can also supply a couple of foam mattresses if needed but may need help with linen for these extras. There are 2 full bathrooms with showers, toilets and the main bathroom has a large spa bath. Also a 3rd separate toilet with hand basin. The house is fully furnished with plenty of seating and fully equipped with things like 50 inch LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 clothes dryers. brNOTE I DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR LINEN OR FOR CLEANING LIKE MANY DO. brbrThe house is perfectly situated for the wide panoramic views in a safe,quiet subdivision only a few minutes drive away from the hussle and bustle and night time noise of the town centre. It is walkable in 30 to 40 minutes but more effort coming back up the hill. A bus service is only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the house and there are plenty of taxis and Uber as well. Most guests who stay do have or hire vehicles if you really want to get out and explore the region and have more flexibility.brFree parking on the street.brbrI like to be honest and upfront with all my potential guests. My house is not perfect or 5 star but I try to price at the lower end of the market. The house is over 35 years old and in need of updating and renovation ie. some worn carpets, curtains, lounge suite cushions, scuff marks etc but is clean and practical and well equipped. Big groups have taken its toll to some extent from wear and tear but guests still seem satisfied and have left good fair reviews on other sites I am listed.brThey appreciate the space, views, location and price. Since Covid it has been very difficult to coordinate a renovation within the budget and with the tradies.brbrThe other thing I like to be upfront about is that I live alone( I am 64) in my own 2 bedroom apartment underneath part of the house only. I have my own facilities and separate access. I am very aware of guests privacy and keep a very low profile but am there in case of need as well. I have operated for over 30 years without problems and know the area pretty well so can help you with some suggestions too.
