With plenty to do in the area and its central location it has something for pretty much every traveller. Its location is in close proximity to a Golf Course - 2 mins drive, makes it a perfect stop for golfers. brOne of the best Ski slopes in Bansko is at short 15 min drive from the resort, there is also a daily shuttle to the Gondola for the price of 10lv per person per day (two ways) during the official ski season which makes it a perfect choice for all ski lovers. If you are not a ski enthusiast, you can use the shuttle to explore the town. After long hours on the piste, you can indulge in the spa and finish the day with a glass of wine over a freshly cooked international cuisine at the restaurant. Another great place to visit nearby, at 12 min drive, is the hot springs of Banya. The hot mineral water in the region is well known for its healing properties and is used in some medical treatments. brDuring the warm months you can simply indulge in the Spa and swimming facilities in the complex or enjoy walks in nature. The resort is located between 3 major mountains - Rila, Pirin and Rodopi and gives opportunities for hikers to explore a few mountain trails. It was built at the beginning of the 1900s, and we have kept a lot of the original wood and stone work and layout. The house has a lovely rustic feel and gives the authentic atmosphere of a traditional Bansko house. Situated on a quiet street, but it is only a 5-minute walk from the old town center and square, you will be close to restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as family-friendly activities. It has a lovely garden with beautiful flowers in the summer, an outdoor sitting area, and ski /snowboard storage room. brThe house is self-catering - it has a fully equipped kitchen ( kettle, coffee-making machine, microwave, oven, dishwasher ). We have 5 bedrooms spread across 3 floors. Downstairs, you will find a large living room/dining room and the kitchen, as well as a small toilet. On the second floor, there are 3 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, and a sitting area. As well as having the best snow record and the longest ski season (15 Dec – 15 Apr) of all Bulgarian resorts, the new multi-million Euro investment in the ski area has provided Bansko with one of the most advanced ski centres in Europe, the highlight of this being the direct gondola ride which carries skiers and snowboarders from the town, right up to the first stop in the resort in around 20 minutes.brbrBansko also has the newest technology in hands free ski passes fitted with micro-chips readable through the pocket of a ski jacket. brbrThe resort also has an excellent ski school and equipment hire facilities. Bansko is a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful Pirin mountains where the highest peak is Vihren (2914 metres). The spa under the apartments is great for those days when you want a break from the slopes and the restaurant is also worth a visit.
