The Peacock Mansion aptly named, is nestled in a quite unassuming but safe neighbourhood in Kumasi and is only about 25mins drive from Kumasi International Airport and 10mins drive from Santasi Roundabout. It has a lot of French Renaissance influence and is certainly designed to exude a sense of grandeur from a bygone era. On approaching the front entrance of the expansive grounds one is greeted by ornate parading Adams finials on plinths and an elegant marble statue of a Peacock sitting atop the roof of the security post. The short driveway leading to the mansion is flanked by huge oversized Dionysus French Urns in the gardens. You are also greeted by life size Victorian limestone statues on plinths as well as high Roman columns supporting the front roof of the mansion.
