The house enjoys significant privacy with its only neighbours being seals, otters and yachts. Point Park is located just 5 metres from Loch Etive’s shore with direct beach access. Apart from the signed trails, there is up to 100 miles of forest tracks and roads in the area, suitable for the serious walker or mountain biker.br brLoch Awe itself is beautiful, far away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and as of now, still under-developed with no noisy water sports to shatter the peace. It has many islands worth visiting, including Innis Chonnel Castle, the first stronghold of the Campbells. The remains of Crannogs; pre historic island hut settlements, can still be seen when the loch is low, at different points along the lochside. The fishing is legendary with monster trout up to 30lb (~14Kg), salmon, sea trout, pike, perch, char etc, depending on the season.br brA wonderful base to explore the boundless historical and scenic attractions that are on offer in this beautiful region. This is one of the most stunning areas to visit in the West of Scotland, if not in the whole of Scotland. All six properties have spectacular alpine views of Loch Etive, Ben Cruachan and surrounding mountains.brbrIt is hard to pick which one of our properties has the best views, but this mobile home is situated in an elevated position and commands its own panoramic view of the loch and the mountains, the decking area and lounge look out on a simply stunning view it has to be seen to be believed. The shore of the loch, just over 1km away, can be accessed down the owners quiet private road. brbrThere is an enclosed garden and pets are welcome, dogs must not be left unattended in the property at any time. brbrAccommodation consists of: living room with open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area; double bedded room; two twin rooms (one of which the beds can be moved together if wished); shower room; separate toilet. Decking with patio area extends round the mobile home to a laundry room with room to dry wet clothes/shoes etc. Dehumidifier supplied. Heating is by gas fire in the lounge, double and one twin room have electric convection heaters, hot water by instant gas water heater. All fuel and electricity is included in the rental. There is no smoking in any of my properties.brbrbrWe do have four properties to choose from, two of them are pet friendly.

Mountain bikes are available for hire, by the day or week.br brThere are many beautiful forest walks in the area, including The Oakwood Trail, The Avich Falls Trail and Duncan’s Walk, all of which meander through ancient oak and pine forests. Pine marten, fox, wild cats red deer, roe deer, otter and red squirrels can often be seen. There are also regular sightings of eagles and ospreys. Apart from the signed trails, there is up to 100 miles of forest tracks and roads within the area, suitable for the serious walker or mountain biker.br brA wonderful base to explore the boundless historical and scenic attractions that are on offer in this magnificent region.
