Its geographical location is quite outstanding, close to Malaga (20 min) and Marbella (20 min) with their beaches, restaurants, clubs, bars and nightlife. In fact, this is the ideal starting point to visit the Costa del Sol. A good thing about our apartment is that there is a bus stop which serves every 30 minutes a ride direction Malaga, Fuengirola or Marbella … You do not really need a car as we have also 2 free bikes available. brPara-sailing, tennis, riding and mini golf are available locally as well as scenic walks, and horse-racing at the nearby hippodrome race track. brThere are superb golf courses at Mijas and La Cala and many more within a short drive by car. brbrThe closest beach is just 5 minutes walk away.The beautiful beach of La Cala is only 5 minutes drive away ( 15 min walk) and has a variety of shops in addition to plenty of golden sand. Just 5 minutes drive in the opposite direction is the town of Fuengirola with an excellent zoo, aquapark, marina, beaches, shops, restaurants and a busy nightlife. The local village of La Cala with its sandy beaches and the shopping town of Fuengirola are 5 minutes drive in opposite directions. Sierra Nevada mountains, for skiing in Winter and hiking in Summer, are approx 2 1/2 hours driving distance. brbrQuality shopping is available in Marbella ( 25 min drive).
