Your Own Private Retreat in Ubud / Penstanan. Stunning Villa - Ideal Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa and this was helped hugely by excellent communication with the owner and property manager from the start of the booking process. They even arranged a driver to collect us from the port and we used him a couple of other times as well.The villa was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.We loved the swimming pool - perfect for cooling after a hot and humid day.There is an excellent supermarket a few minutes walk from the property where we could get all supplies that we needed.The property was very quiet but it was east to walk in to the main part of ubud (about 15 minutes) or go to other areas. I recommend using the Coconut spa for excellent massages and treatments - just a few doors up from the supermarket.

We loved this villa so much. The location is ideal because it’s very close to the supermarket and many other businesses, but it feels quiet and peaceful tucked into a rice field. The walking paths and nearby cafes became our daily routine, and going back to the villa for a dip and relaxation was so wonderful. The other very important thing to mention is the staff that care for you and the villa. Juli, Warni, and Wayan were so kind and helpful. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without them. If we come back to Ubud, we’re coming back to this villa.

My sister & I had 5 nights at Kupu Kupu Villa. It was everything & more than what we had anticipated. A true gem

We had a fantastic stay of 6 days in the beautiful villa in Ubud. The layout of house is spectacular. The open living room and two bedrooms are build around a beautiful swimming pool with impressive statues on both sides. Both bathrooms have luxurious showers where you can take a shower under the stars. The house is situated walking distance from a big supermarket and our host provided helpful tips for the best restaurants with authentic food. Again on walking distance you can find access to several easy hiking trips in the rice fields. Lastly Bruce the host communicates perfectly and the staff is professional and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful stay we rate this place 10 out of 10.

Beautiful villa looked as good or better than photos. Located in great spot in Ubud with grocery store nearby....highly recommend

Clean property, perfect for two couples. Each bedroom has great air con and ceiling fan with a very comfortable bed. Each bathroom is spacious with an indoor/outdoor shower. Good kitchen area with a decent sized fridge. Good sized pool with a pool cleaner maintaining cleanliness and topping up water. Villa is only a 5 minute walk to the Bintang suoermarket for supplies. A nice warung also a 10 minute stroll away with nice meals for any time of the day. Taxis into Ubud at the front of bintang supermarket - a 15 minute walk to ubud, a 2 minute taxi (70k rupiah) highly recommend a stay at kupu kuou

The Villa and staff in Ubud were amazing from the time we got there! The driver Ketut who picked us up from the airport was really nice and friendly. He even waited a while for us while we got through customs and took us to Mc Donald’s because we didn’t have anything to eat and it was very late. The Villa itself was amazing. My wife and I thought it looked even better in person than in the photos. The pool was nice and it had enough room to relax, swim and feel like we were in paradise. The staff were amazing. From the staff manager Ketut (different Ketut from the driver) to the house keeping who were very helpful with our luggage. The house keeping even did a wonderful job when my wife had Bali belly to check up on her and make sure she was doing well every step of the way. Since no one was staying the day we had to leave, Ketut even asked us what time we were leaving and we could stay a little longer at the Villa until we had to check out. If you are looking to book this Villa, look no further, as it was really good for price, the Villa is breathe taking, and you get well looked after with the staff. Would definitely stay here again! :)

We have stayed here previously. The property is well maintained, located and perfect in every way. Ketut and his staff keep the property fresh and nice. You have daily maid service performed by Warni. Don’t look for another property in Ubud. This is the one!

Wonderful. All was great. The location was a bit of surprise. No parking close to the house. Parked in a commercial lot and had to walk thru a construction site to get to the house. Not terrible but not expected. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the pool. Outdoor shower was fun too.
