Cinnamon Ridge, named HGTV’s Caribbean House of the Year in 2020, is an elegant 6-bedroom, 6.5-bath villa designed for exceptional comfort and unforgettable island experiences. Fully renovated in 2019, this stunning home features a private saltwater pool, Tesla battery backup system, and luxurious amenities throughout, all thoughtfully curated with guests in mind.

A gated entrance welcomes you to the property as you arrive via the upper-level parking area. From there, a beautifully landscaped tropical walkway lined with vibrant flowers leads you to the front entrance. Upon entering, guests are immediately captivated by the expansive wall of glass framing breathtaking Caribbean sea views.

The heart of Cinnamon Ridge is its spacious great room, which seamlessly combines the kitchen, living, and dining areas while showcasing panoramic ocean vistas. Flanking the great room on either side are two primary suites, each with private en-suite bathrooms. An interior staircase leads to the lower level, where four additional guest bedrooms with en-suite baths provide ample accommodations for larger groups and families.

For those needing to stay connected, the villa includes Starlink high-speed internet with upload speeds of approximately 32Mbps.

The expansive outdoor sun deck is a true highlight, featuring a private saltwater pool, covered outdoor seating, and a wet bar area complete with a flat-screen TV. Guests also have the option to add pool heating to their reservation for an additional fee of $62 per day.

Perfect for couples, families, or group getaways, Cinnamon Ridge offers an extraordinary St. John retreat in one of the island’s most desirable locations.

LOCATION: Cinnamon Ridge is perched 530 feet above the white sands of Cinnamon Bay on St. John’s spectacular North Shore. Located within a pristine National Park setting, this peaceful and private villa offers breathtaking 200-degree views of Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, turquoise waters, and some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, including Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay, and Jumbie Bay.

Accessible from either Centerline Road or North Shore Road, the villa is approximately 15 minutes from Cruz Bay. Due to the steep and adventurous drive, a 4-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.

LIVING & DINING: The 700-square-foot air-conditioned living room is beautifully furnished and offers stunning sea views, creating the perfect space to relax, stream your favorite shows, or enjoy a tropical drink. Indoor dining comfortably seats 10 guests, while multiple outdoor dining spaces provide additional options for al fresco meals and morning coffee.

KITCHEN: The well-equipped kitchen is positioned to maximize ocean views and includes everything needed for preparing meals, including a gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, drip coffee maker, K-cup machine, French press, toaster, and blender. Whether cooking with loved ones or hiring a private chef, this space is ideal for gathering.

BEDROOMS: BEDROOMS: The main level of the villa features two beautifully appointed primary bedrooms located on opposite sides of the great room, offering both privacy and comfort. Each bedroom includes a king bed, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV for streaming, breathtaking ocean views, and direct access to a private deck where you can relax and take in the Caribbean breezes. The bedroom on the left features an ensuite bathroom with a stunning stone shower, while the bedroom on the right has a private bathroom just outside the doorway, also showcasing a beautiful stone shower.

An interior staircase leads to the lower level, where a shared hallway connects three additional guest bedrooms. The bedroom on the left offers a king bed, the center bedroom features two twin beds that can be converted into a king, and the bedroom on the right includes two queen beds — ideal for families or groups traveling together. Each of these bedrooms enjoys air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs for streaming, and lovely ocean views.

The newly completed 6th bedroom at Cinnamon Ridge adds even more flexibility and privacy for larger groups. Located on the lower level, this spacious suite can be accessed either by an exterior staircase from the driveway level or through a separate doorway connected to the lower-level hallway. This inviting bedroom features a king bed, air conditioning, a walk-in closet, and a private ensuite bathroom.

POOL HEATER OPTION: Pool heating is available for $62 per day and should be requested at the time of booking. A $100 additional fee applies if added during your stay.

The views alone are worth the trip, The property itself is well maintained and lovely. A 4 Wheel drive vehicle is MANDATORY.

The house was beautiful inside and out! Gorgeous views!! The management team was very attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate my 50th birthday with some of my closest friends.

This is a really special property. It is tough for pictures to do this place justice. The views and location are simply breath taking. While the journey in and out takes some getting used to, after the first few trips it becomes easy and is well worth it to be perched high above Cinnamon Bay. The house was spacious, with lots of indoor / outdoor space to enjoy. It had plenty of AC in the bedrooms and a lovely pool and hot tub. We loved it!

The property, the house and the views are absolutely amazing. We had to tear ourselves away from the view and force ourselves to visit other parts of the island! The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Beautifully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, etc. The driveway does take a bit to get used to A Wrangler (not just anything Jeep makes) is a must. Don’t let the rental car co. tell you otherwise! Our only issue was with the pool and hot tub. The pool had not been serviced in a while before we got to the house despite someone supposedly coming up there to turn the pool heat on. We emptied the skimmer and robot ourselves and skimmed the leaves. We paid about $500 to heat the pool but the water was cold and the water recirculating into the pool was the same temp so I don’t think the heat was ever on. The hot tub was murky and we couldn’t figure out how to get the control panel to turn on so it didn’t matter. We did not complain about the pool or hot tub but on the last day of our stay someone came and drained the hot tub and then ran out of water trying to refill it so we had no water on the peppery until maintenance came and “fixed” it. We were out at the time this happened and no one called to tell us we had no water. We found that out when we stopped by to rinse off from the beach on our way to lunch and I called the property mgmt when we realized the problem but they already knew. Other than this hiccup our stay was amazing and we will be back again!

Clean, beautiful property. Clear communication and above and beyond accommodating property management. I particularly love the inside access bedrooms - we didn't bring this kids this time but will for the next! The house is at the end of the dead end road so it is very peaceful and relaxing. We felt like we were on top of the world! Highly recommend and will be back!

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at Cinnamon Ridge. Caribbean Villas was so helpful from start to finish and we can not wait to go back. I have been to St. John many times and this home and management company was the best.

Omg I don’t even know where to begin! From the ease of booking, to meeting our island greeter down at the dock ,and then our stay, our experience was 5 star. The communication from the management company was top notch - they were knowledgeable, friendly and gave us great recommendations. The villa was clean, furniture was comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and often found ourselves getting lost in the endless ocean views. Our teens basically lived in the pool the entire time! We are already in the works to rebook for next year. There’s no need to be on the fence when Cinnamon Ridge is a contender… you won’t regret it! Thanks for a lovely stay. We will be back!

We just got back from our April 2022 spring break vacation with family and friends. Must say that the pictures are accurate, the views are unimaginable; couldn't stop staring out at Cinnamon Bay and the BVIs. The house is very much as described and would recommend it without hesitation. Just a few things to note/keep in mind. To say the villa driveway is steep at the end is an understatement. Once you pass the gate, it is straight up. When they say you need a Jeep, its a must. It was a bit nerve-wracking for some of the folks in our group, but it also wouldn't stop us from renting it again. Second, don't buy any coffee filters. Its a drip-coffee maker, but only makes one cup at a time with a built-in filter. There was a Keurig as well, but we didn't use it. Third, folks have left plenty of floats, noodles, etc and there's a decent amount of beach chairs. Lastly, the only drawback is the bird poop. The deck off the kitchen/living area and the table adjacent to it were covered in bird poop. Completely understand that its something inevitable since the villa is in the middle of nature, but just thought folks should be aware of it. To end on a good note, don't let the lack of air conditioning in the living areas deter you from renting this place. If you leave the doors open, it cools off in no time and we didn't have any issues with bugs coming in, even at night.

We stayed at Cinnamon Ridge for a week in June 2016. There haven't been many recent reviews, so I wanted to be sure to add one. It was just two of us, so the villa was way more than we needed. But the price was competitive with smaller villas and we really wanted the view. After reading previous reviews the villa was what we expected it to be. It is an older property that may have fallen into disrepair at some point. But the kitchen and top, west master bedroom were recently renovated and that was essentially our entire living space for this trip. It was not luxurious but was sufficient for what we needed. And those views... We didn't have any major issues. Unfortunately the fountain on the pool was not working when we arrived. The greeter offered to have someone come out to fix it but we declined. We preferred our privacy. We did have two unexpected visitors. The gardeners showed up one afternoon (we were not given a schedule of any services) and someone stopped by to check the water pump after an island wide power outage. Not a huge issue, but would have been nice to know they were coming. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. The oven, stove, toaster, refrigerator and grills all worked great and met our needs. It was very well equipped. The shower in the master bathroom felt like an outdoor shower, with nice stone and skylights. There is no air conditioning. The first night was rough due to the heat and humidity. But it quickly cooled off with the evening breezes, and once were were acclimated it was fine. The night the power went off was a little rough with no fans for cooling. Our biggest issue was the noise. Some people say they love sleeping to the sounds of the frogs and insects. For us it was hell. Fortunately I remembered our snorkeling earplugs and the sound problem was solved. The road into the area is a combination of paved and unpaved. Some areas were quite rough. But it is similar to everywhere else you go on the island and was easy to handle. It's quite a distance from town, so keep that in mind if you plan to go in and out frequently. We decided to risk the road that continues north to the north shore road. It was in good shape and was a fantastic shortcut to the north shore beaches. We probably won't return. We prefer AC and didn't like the drive. But I'm glad we stayed and would recommend it to others. The folks at Caribbean Villas were great to work with. And those views...!

Wow, we had a group of nine friends and family and this was a perfect place for us. The view is as incredible as the pictures lead you to believe. I couldn't wait to wake up every morning to look out over Cinnamon Bay. We were there in July for eight nights, there is no A/C but it was fine, one night was warm, one night was cool, and the rest comfortable. Love having the house completely open. Every bedroom has a million dollar view ($4 million view I guess as it was for sale when we were there). It's an interesting Jeep drive to get to it, it was shocking the first time and we loved it every time after that. One of our favorite things about it. Alone in the middle of the national park and it makes us still talk about how to get back there as quick as possible.
