The stay could be 5 stars but there are some deficiencies. The thermostats are in need of calibration. It was a cold weekend that required we run the heat. One thermostat set at 63 made it very warm in the master suites. The living room set at 77 was still very cold. The bonus room does not heat at all. The property is listed as 6 bedrooms. It is a 5 bedroom house. There is an extra bed in what is essentially a closet within the 5th bedroom. It is not a 6th bedroom as it doesn’t even have a door and requires going through a bedroom to access it. The host responded quickly to the broken oven. We arrived Tuesday for Thanksgiving to a very small oven that did not work. They replaced the oven Wednesday as promised. If you have a large group be aware this is an undersized oven for the property but it is now brand new. This is a 20 acre property, but 90% of it is woods that are impenetrable. Don’t expect to use 20 acres for recreation. We had a nice time in the home for our large family Thanksgiving. The 2 large tables are great for what we needed.

Hi everything was great,more than enough room for family and friends clean everything we needed would definitely use this location again,the pool needs to be cleaned and heater on to take of it on cool days and nights,but in all great property.

Home was clean but dated. Listing says pool won’t be heated through summer months. Apparently September is a summer month despite the pool being too cold to use, we were not offered an option to heat. The pool and number of bedroom/bathrooms were a primary factor in our booking so we were pretty disappointed. Communication could have been better.

Our stay at Villa Rosa was wonderful! Upon arrival, we was very pleased with the house and the space! The house and the pool was very clean as well! The property accommodated our family reunion and the family gave great praise for such a great pick !! We look forward to returning to Villa Rosa Estate!

The house does not look anything like the pictures. Sara stopped communicating once we arrived and we couldn’t get in the gate. After threatening to call the police, she responded. After getting in the gate, the door to the house wasn’t even locked. She never told us or had in the description that the house was located in the woods down a narrow bumpy path, very unmanicured with trash all along the way. The house smelled horrible, the garage had a terrible odor in it. I’ve never seen so many air fresheners in one house which lets me know she knew of the smell already. I have a video of the house. The windows on the rear porch looked as if they’ve never been cleaned. Save your money. We didn’t stay, we stayed long enough to take pictures and videos then had to find somewhere else to stay because we had driven 7 hours.

House was excellent. Did have trouble with an AC unit which was rectified. Wi-Fi and TV did go out but was not reported during our stay. Range top was used but had difficulty heating to cook eggs. Listing leads to thinking hose in gated community but house is isolated and accessible through a locked gate. Access to house over rutted and rough dirt road. House very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the stay. Kids loved the pool and the frogs that accumulated there

I rented this home for a company retreat and we were all so impressed with the property. Secluded, clean, and comfortable but not inconveniently far from necessities. When we needed service quickly the owner was very quick to respond and resolve our issue. They were above and beyond and I highly recommend this property.

Space was very secluded and perfect for gathering! Definitely recommend booking!

Great mansion

The property itself is beautiful. The home has good bones but needs a lot of upkeep/refurbishment. Many power sockets don't work or are too loose to hold in plugs. Glass cooktop circa 1990s broke during our stay after placing a hot pan on the stovetop...where hot pans are supposed to go. A the house is honestly too big/nice for the neighborhood where it resides.

Loved the house,definitely renting again. Very private and out the way. Pool was nice. Beautiful property

The kitchen didn't have a working oven when we arrived. After two rounds of service men coming to test the oven, property manager finally agreed to replace the oven (it was only repaired on day 4, after we reported it on day 1). We ran out of toilet paper and garbage bags towards the end of our week-long stay, and had to buy our own. The pictures don't show that the interior of the house (cabinets, baseboards, etc.) is pretty scuffed up, but otherwise a nice house. Water pressure is low in upstairs bathrooms. Hot water runs out quickly. Most people had to take luke-warm showers. Our main issue was that a rodent got into our food in the kitchen on at least three nights (e.g. tomato on the floor with big bites out of it; bread bag plastic chewed through; scratching noises in the walls). Property manager sent service man out to set glue traps and spray repellent after our first report. Talking with him, it was obvious to us he knew that house had an unresolved rodent problem prior to our stay. After our second rodent incident, we reported it to the property manager, who DIDN'T RESPOND AT ALL! Totally unacceptable.

This house is big! It’s great for big family. We had plenty of room! The house is in a VERY WOODED AREA. We arrived at night and there’s very little lighting. The road is in uneven. It’s kind of scary. There is padded lock on a gate and you have to put the code in by hand and push the gate open manually. With that being said unless you pull in and get out to close the gate there’s really no security. It’s very sketchy! When we arrived there air was off and it was hot! Once on, the air was good. There is an “old” smell to the house as well. The water pressure is very minimal in the shower but get super hot in the kitchen. The WiFi password wasnt working but the owner quickly responded. Overall, we had a good stay, but definitely need updated entry gate!

The host was incredibly responsive, the pictures are accurate, and our guest were impresssed. There are lots of rooms and bathrooms, it was very spacious. We had about 15 guest - plenty of room for everyone. I loved the privacy.
