Stayed Jul 2, 2025It was a beautiful space to be for a week! The views are exquisite and the outdoor spaces are simply lovely. We also loved the location - close enough to the water and restaurants/shops but far enough away to enjoy some quiet too.It was quite warm on the 1st floor of the home, but we were there during an exceptionally hot week. The upstairs bedrooms were air conditioned quite well to make sleeping comfortable, even despite the heat. Laura was the very best host - always quick to respond to any questions about the house or about the area. Her recommendations were wonderful!

Stayed Dec 20, 2024We stayed here for a weekend this winter and we were very happy. The property is beautiful. Oddly there are no pictures of the bathrooms, but there are plenty of them. Bathrooms and kitchen are very clean and well kept. Hosts are very good with communication. They anticipate everything and are very welcoming. They sent excellent directions which helped us find the house with no problems. This is a lake house in winter and they warmed up the house for us so that it was toasty and comfortable when we arrived after work on a Friday. (The fact that there were zero drafts on a windy night with all of the windows in the house was especially impressive.) The area is very walkable. House is only a very short walk to the edge of the lake and is very conveniently situated to take the ferry (with or without a car) to other towns on the lake. There were plenty of options for seating and dining, though there were just the two of us, I could see the house being pretty comfortable for a family. Antiques are everywhere, and the home is charming because of it. Overall Laura and Lorenzo were great hosts and the house was excellent.

Stayed Jun 22, 2024Highly recommend Casa Antichita!! Communications with our host was fabulous. She gave us great recommendations from taxi driver to cooking classes. The house is located a short 5 minute walk to shopping and restaurants. We were glad to have a washing machine and dryer at the home as well. Someone met us at the house and gave us a tour and answered many questions. If we are ever back in Torri del Benaco, this is our first choice.

Stayed Sep 25, 2023Property was perfectly situated for us to be able to walk everywhere and enjoy the wonderful town in which it is situated. Also close to a lovely restaurant, Mola, that we really enjoyed. Our host was wonderful and communicated clearly before, during and after our stay. It was a pleasure being at a property where someone cares about your well-being so much.

Stayed Sep 2, 2023Homely villa, amazing views of the lake. Hot tub was used every day to ease our aching muscles after our very busy days. 5 minutes walk to bars and restaurants on the lakeside… and the ice cream is amazing! Great base for trips to Venice, Verona, Milan, etc. We also did a day trip to the dolomites, with pick up/drop off at the bus stop that’s about a 5 minute walk from the villa. The ferry across the lake is worth a trip - easy to get tickets and the ferry runs regularly across the lake.

Stayed Jul 25, 2023My wife an I, with our two daughters and five grandchildren had a wonderful stay in Lake Garda. Laura's house was a vital resource. There was plenty of space in a lovely environment. The view from the house to the Lake was magnificent. The pool was well-used and enjoyed. Torri Del Benaco was less congested than other resorts - what a relief! Laura was always friendly and helpful.

Stayed Jun 11, 2023My family just returned from more than 2 weeks touring parts of Italy including up North. We only dedicated 4 days total in the area so wanted a good home base that could allow us to see some of the lakeside communities as well as do some day tripping away. We also wanted a place that we could easily walk into a nearby town for dining, shopping and other activities. This Torri del Benaco property provided all that and more. It has character and charm and lots of light. Its has high quality features and more than ample space for many guests. Perfect place for two families with kids to stay. All the amenities were quality along with the furnishings. For a home, perhaps its over furnished for my taste but provides lots of places for guests to sit or lay down. Our only tiny issue was that we could not figure out how to heat the hot tub above 30 degress C (86F) I reached out to the hosts who responded quickly to all our needs but on this one it was a bit comical. I won't go into detail but I'm guessing they consider it more of a mini-pool than a hot tub. But its definitely a hot tub/spa only we couldn't get it to reach those temps. It was not a big deal. And there's a shared pool with a view on the hillside above and of course beautiful Lake Garda to go sail/swim/play in. That one little hiccup aside, we fully endorse staying at this Garda property. You won't be disappointed.
