Wheelchair suitable Holiday Villa with private swimming pool, near the beach

Overall our stay was good, everything was as it was listed (although I would remove the pictures from before the remodeling, it’s confusing) and we had a great time in the pool and playing tabletennis. The beach is a 10 minute walk. However, when we arrived the house wasn’t overly clean. The floors were sticky/had some dirty spots, there were a lot of spiders in their typical places and some undefinable little bugs in the bathroom, where the windowsill also wasn’t clean. However, I believe the cleaning is done by the cleaners of the holiday resort on which it is located, so I would recommend the owner to take that up with the provider of this service. If that is taken care of, I would definitely recommend this place. Maintenance tips: the window in the downstairs bedroom didn’t close properly and the pavement in the garden was uneven in some places, could use an upgrade. And I would recalibrate the pool cover so it closes 100% again. Also better for the electrical bill ?.

Nice area near the sea. Not too far of a drive to grocery store. House served our needs but a bench in a wheelchair accessible shower would have been helpful. Even though there are grab bars the shower, it isnt suitable for somebody who can only stand for a few seconds. The electric bed wouldnt raise or lower and with no grab bars nearby, my dad found it very hard to get in and out of it. The house & appliance instructions are all in Dutch or German, no English which was a problem for us -thank goodness for Google Translate. We had to pay to rent sheets and towels which was not mentioned in the listing when I booked the house. Since we flew from Canada it wasnt possible to bring all that linen with us.

We really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend it! The furniture was clean, the house was spacious, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and we had access to a washing machine/dryer (which is a mom of 2 small kids was very important). The pool and grass area were entertaining for the kids. The men enjoyed the BBQ. The property manager and housekeeper were very responsive. The house is also located in a community that offers a playground, supermarket, mini golf, snack bar, family activities, and a few other amenities which we made use of. Outside of the community, the location is close to the beach, a nature park, and an Albert Heijn. My only area for feedback is that I expected the pool to be warmer than it was; it was set to 23 degrees, which may be a perfect temperature in the summer, but it felt cold after being in the pool for a few minutes in the weather conditions we were in. Nevertheless, we created some nice memories in that house and had a great time. We would book a holiday at this location again and recommend it our friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This house has everything you need - we stayed there for 1,5 weeks with a dog and a Baby and had a great time. The surrounding park is very dog friendly and has lots of playgrounds. The sea with a beautiful beach is just a 15 min walk away. We will definitely be back :)
