Waterfront Mermaid's Retreat Delights! Manasota Key charmer!

Great place! It was well stocked. The beach equipment was so nice. Pool was warm. Great view.

Great location! Only complaint was the entry door was in bad shape and could only be opened and closed with effort. It would be great if you could somehow add a visitor parking spot.

Everything at this property was wonderful! Very peaceful and relaxing! The Mermaids Retreat was absolutely magnificent. It was very clean, comfortable and welcoming! It was more than we expected and offered special touches. There was nothing that we did not like, and we highly recommend! We will most certainly stay again!!!

Had a wonderful time at Mermaids retreat. Was the perfect spot for my husband, 2 kids & I. The private beach is breath taking!! Perfect location to restaurants & shops. We will definitely be back!

Great view right on the bay. Easy check in and out. Lots to do in the area. Beaches were just perfect. If your a shell hunter, theres not a better area. The apartment was very relaxing and felt like home. Already planning to go back!

This was a really cute place to stay! We were right on Lemon Bay with the heated pool right outside our Mermaid Retreat! Was perfect for 2 people.

We were greatly appreciative of how clean and nicely decorated our suite was. Everything we could have possibly needed was right there! The Mermaid's Retreat Suite has a separate bedroom, which was a bonus. We also loved the studio suite we stayed in last year. The pool is nice and warm, and we were usually the only ones there. Great communication with the host and the on-site staff! Lots of places to eat on the Key, and even more in nearby Englewood. The location is also within an hour of several other neat towns. We enjoyed Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, where we went on a sunset and Christmas light cruise. We hope to make an annual visit!

Englewood is a nice little town with an old Florida Feel. Mermaids Retreat has a beautiful location right on the water of the Bay with the Gulf beach a short walk across the street. We really enjoyed our weekend there and look forward to returning. Amy who handled the booking made sure our check-in went smoothly and we highly recommend this property for your stay!

Overall it was good. Stayed in the Mermaid Retreat. Quiet location, on the bay with easy access to the beach across the street. The place was clean and the pool was a perfect addition. Not a lot to do on Manasota Key but if you’re looking to just relax, this is the place. Be sure to try all the restaurants on the key.We hit the perfect week with not a lot of people there. Most times we were the only ones on the beach and at the pool which made it very relaxing.

My husband and I spent a week at mermaids retreat and absolutely loved it! We took full advantage of the kayaks and went out on the bay multiple times. Beach access was easy to find and not far away at all. The space was perfect for two of us and it was well stocked with all the things you need from coffee to beach chairs. Would stay again!

Right on bay, little cute efficiency. Not much to say except it was cozy and the other familes on vacation there all were chill so was great if looking for quiet and relaxing.

The condo was perfect for our stay, a vacation to relax and hunt shark teeth! The room was very clean and decorated well. The sofas were a bit uncomfortable. The pool was warm, clean, and never crowded. We were so thankful for all the beach gear available to use! I recommend they get a larger sign for the driveway entrance, the unit is the last one down a lane. The area is still recovering from storm damages, this is why I noted the are a 4/5. There are several good restaurants nearby to choose from. It is a short drive to Venice and a short drive to Walmart for supplies/groceries. Definitely would return!!

Well appointed unit. Very clean. Great bay views and short walk to beach. Good communication from owner who provided tips on restaurants and shopping.

This rental was nice. It had close proximity to the beach and beautiful views of the bay. We saw manatees swimming one evening!

Absolutely wonderful stay! I could’ve stayed another day to just do nothing.

We were welcomed by a bottle of wine and the staff! Our accommodations were neat and clean and nicely decorated. We had our own door, parking place and a beach across the street!

We were delighted to find this fresh and comfortable unit waiting for us. Plenty of space for 2. Very laid back and relaxed vibe. The pool was refreshing and the view of the bay was beautiful. We’d book again!

Very clean and new accommodations. Lots of amenities. Need different bathroom door and better closet in bedroom. But overall great location. Easy walk to beach.

All was great. Only want to point out that the door leading into bathroom was stuck and appears to be water damaged or rotted in the bottom. Also could not turn on the main light by living room/kitchen area. Not complaining, just thought you should know.

Great location, reminded us of what we love, Old Florida!!!!! We did have an issue with a leak and the Host was awesome in getting it corrected and didn’t interrupt our vacation one bit! Thank you again for a great place to stay!!

This was the perfect get away spot! Communication with home owners was spot on with details about stay, check-in, and local attractions. Very clean and comfortable. There was even a tray of teas, snacks, and amenities. My biggest dilemma was deciding whether I wanted to hang out at the pool or the beach. Tough decisions! I highly recommend Mermaid's Retreat!
